I've made two of these cool scoodies, and it looks like this year is the coldest ever and so I am wearing them all time ad they are really cool and warm I love them and I would like to thank you for showing me how to make them. unfortunately I've got studies now and it's been 4 months that I haven't crochetted a thing I hope I can get back to my hooks and yearn as soon as possible to make some other warm things for me and for my little family.
i enjoy watching your videos i have done four of your hats so far this has to be my favorite by far so neat looking i made one for my hubby and he loves it i added ears to it being hes furry lover too lol. thanks so much for the tutorials they are great and yours so awsome hehe and your manner makes it so easy to follow what your doing thanks again:)
Im a visual learner and learning through your tutorial makes crocheting easy. Ive made a scoodie and a beanie hat and loved the outcome. Thanks for the easy and step by step instructions, it makes a project easy to do.
i am trying to do this stitch in half double crochet but when i do the back loops only it comes out flat instead of rased like yours what am i doing wrong ??? please help i am using a 5.00 mm hook and double knit yarn. cant get it right :(
HI...just completed my first Scoodie yesterday...took me two days and three skeins of 8ply soft acrylic yarn in dark green and purple. Just fabulous, easy to follow and understand...i will be making more...thanks so much for sharing :) Enjoy your day and Happy crochet. :)
I would love to make this, only skill I have is using the knifty knitter. Do you think I could make it on one? Would you be able to help me out with this?
I followed your great videos to make the scoodie and let me tell you, it was so easy!!! I just got back into crocheting...never done anything but afghans and I loved this! My whole family wants one for Christmas now!!! Thank you so much :)
Is there a written pattern for this scoodie?? I love it and am going to try to make it. I just like to have a written pattern as well for future reference. Thank you so much for this AWESOME tutorial!
how do you do the back stitch thing you did to make it nice and thick ? I looked on other youtube videos, but I'm not sure if those are the same as what you did.
@bobwilson123 I am actually making this scoodie right now the same way you didm HDC two strands, 6.5mm hook but i has justt wondering if there was a different way to make the hood so that it was just round instead of coming to a point in the back
@pootinhammer ooppsss i ment HOODEANIE hehehe , Have a look at that video and see if you can adapt it to the scarf. I think in the other video you may have to sew the two together once you have finished them :) Sorry about the confusion
@meluvchris418 thanks for watching ! So many people comment on my accent :) Some people say it is soothing lol dont think my fiance would agree hahahahahha
This looks fantastic...I'd love to try it in a chunky wool... will be perfect when winter comes to us here in Ireland! I might work on it over the summer months so its ready when the cold winds come back in Autumn! Thank you sooo much for this ...cant wait to try it out! :)
@IrishCol1only Thanks for watching my video, Its not cold here yet in Australia but i made so it is ready for when it is. I thought that is was perfect to kepp them chilly brezes out :)
