But at 4.00 a day, what savings are you talking about? That is enough to just live hand to mouth if that. To buy mutual funds with that would be nuts, that is for those who make money like $50,000 a year plus. They should just eat for that day with the four dollars, where saving would be a luxury that is beyond their league.

@doubleestark dude these ppl dont eat at McDs and KFCs... $4 is Rs. 160 -180.. while they can get a day's meal at arnd Rs. 30.. so there are defntly saving. plus these ppl r nt looking for a 'return on investment'. they want store money safely and withdraw it when they go back to their natives... this is a good example of technology for the 'bottom of the pyramid'. come down from ur ivory tower..

I just bought 1050 units of HGD on Horizon Beta Pro for $10.99 and sold it for $11.30 for a quick $300 dollar gain in a matter of 45 minutes. How many Rs is that? Maybe 12,000 Rs in only 45 minutes betting gold will go down.

What Ivory tower are you thinking about? I only save $800 biweekly and set that money aside. I think what I am doing is slightly below average for a Canadian adult in their mid thirties. I save a little over $20,000 a year.

True, but no need to BAN anything... one's opinion of what should be banned is not necessarily the best for all... ever.

The world was just fine before all this BS and control devices. How about all these UN controlled BS artists stay out of people's lives. Yes, the day all the banks collapse will be a great thing.  Money is an invention totally controlled by a few. Don't let them control food or your right to think--or what is left of it.

@AweSomo84 Indian banks are not corrupt. Most poor people bank with the small nationalised banks. Only the rich bank with Goldman Sachs or Citi who are corrupt...
