"shitty ass pop music": that pretty much describes everything elvis did after he sold out to rca and became a pop singer and a las vegas entertainment singer. he was a rocker when he was at sun records and used his leather jacket and played the older songs,but later, he sold out.

rock was dying in the early 60s, the beatles saved rock, and are the best rock band ever.

and the true king of rock should be little richard or chuck berry
