@CosmikDebrisFZ Hi, Thanks for watching. The rod that is bouncing around is my gas gauge. there's a small brass float on the end of that wire. Simple light and works great. That's the original gauge that goes as far back as the first engine out due to fuel starvation.
hi, I'm flying out of Khib or 9Y5 in northern mn. bout 90 miles south of canada. The builder of this plane enclosed it for year round flying. It's has an A65 in it now that needs a rebuild. I might have a buyer. If not I'm thinking an C85. I'll get some pix to you soon. they are good little planes. thanks for watching my videos.
I love the baby ace. My father built his in 1960, and flew it for 20 years. I use to taxi it back to his spot when I was 11 and 12 at Markham airport just north of Toronto. I loved it. Open cockpit, with the wind in your face, it was the best memory of my child hood. Where are you flying out of. Do you have a pic of the plane? His reg # was CF-REL. Is yours 65 hp as well?
Hey, had to check out your videos. Nice quality, need to extend one to show your plane. Also, your very smooth on your landings. I used to be that good 12 years ago I loved the x-winds and slipping to land. Its gonna take a while to get good again cuz now I'm in a tail dragger for the first time. Its like learning all over again...no checkout, just go.
You have some fun looking playing grounds where ever that is your at.
Hi, Thanks for checking out the vids and replying. I'm just using a Sony camera with a video setting. I'd much rather slip it in than have to add power. I'll be putting more up today but I did forget to take some of the Corben Baby Ace. There's a couple of guys that plan on buying it so I'm using this site to show them what it can do. You'll love taildraggin. Have fun. By the way, I'm in northern MN
Man, that was amazing. Never flown myself ever, now I get the prospective. What's the metal rod I see flopping around?
