As an experienced drummer I can say that Meg is very refreshing. Perhaps due to lack of experience she approaches the songs from an angle that other drummers wouldn't think about. She plays very unorthodox and it works great for this band.

in "it might get loud" (go ahead and watch it) jack said he intentinally put meg behind the drums with no professional long-term training to achive an authentic "caveman" or "little boy" sound. he also plays some crappy old plastic guitar and uses no high-end equipment whatsoever. he sometimes doesnt even care to tune his guitar properly. its how he understands music: its all about the attitude of the song.

I like the music of joe bonamassa, who is a virtuoso... but if you ask me for the better player of the decade, without a doubt I´ll pick jack. He is not only the better pleyer but musician, and he was also the most influential. Now, he is not perfect like JB, but he has something more rare. His music has passion, soul, force. He is a genious. He had compossed many of the best rock riffs of all time (Like this) and live (I´ve the luck to attend a gig of the WS) he is a monster

Meg White is being simple as always. What annoys me is that people keep calling Meg a bad drummer, but it's just part of the White Stripes' sound. Even if she can't do better, it still fits the White Stripes and that's really all that counts.
