on the whole your reviews include this one are fairly well done, But in the future mayby steer away from induling points that have been shown to be wrong such as the satan worship which in fact was only found out about under torture. I said my beef with the game, but I score games based on all the stuff it has to offer bad & good. In the long run AC2 had more good things then bad, so I scored it based on that. Also it improved upon the combat & gameplay of the original as well.

I dont mind the whole making their own verison of religion thingy cause it a game and everyone knows that it isnt reality and it isnt supposed to be. no I don't do PS3 anymore. I tried for 2 yrs, its just to time consuming. I focus on 3DS,Retro and Wii at this point. I talked with Ubisoft devs during development of Brother Hood, I was planning on doing it, but I didn't pick this game up. I will be doing something on AC for Wii U.

great review but i think you went a bit overkill on the religion side of things. I was a little annoyed at the prostitute nun but apart from that it was fine. The adam and eve alien civilisation thing was just something the creators came up with for their game and that's all this is, a game. It doesn't mean they believe that it was true and it is the same with minerva saying religion is false. This is an alternate world and Ubisoft can do whatever they like with it. Great review though.

But even though I am Catholic, I didn't find this game to nearly as anti-christian as you. The whole nun/prostitute thing really ticked me off, but the corrupt nature of Rodrigo Borgia is actually historically accurate!! He is known to be the most corrupt pope EVER. When Minerva warns Ezio of the 'men bearing the cross," couldn't she be referring to Templars as they bore the Iron Cross? I didn't think she meant Christians.

What I find amusing from people criticizing Christians is when we show emotion. The review was his own take as was the game developers had their version. It's no different. Even if you remove the emotion which didn't seem like much (NOT truly serious as in condemning since he liked the game) one can see his argument is sound in itself; NOT some rant.

In the last episode (about the physics), in addition to it, when you jump off of the viewpoints into hay, thats off. If you jump from a two story window into something like that you can hurt yourself. so i dont think he could do it from 10

Your right, they shouldn't have made the plot anti-christian. Actually if you really start to look at it everything is becoming more and more anti religion in general.

What they should have done was never bring up the topic, thus making the game more neutral to players that have different beliefs. Other than that the game looks and plays great.

@nintendoforumuser Tthey had every right to bring it into the story. This is their story, not yours, not KWing's, not anyone else's. The story is actually beautifully done and told much better than the first game. The characters were more fleshed out and interesting, Ezio is a more three dimensional character than Altair and the game even expanded upon Altair's story, it's just much better in general, thanks in part to these themes. KWing is simply saying it's worse because he disagrees with it.

Ive got to give props KWing. You are and Still my Number 1 Review on the net. 4 videos, 36 minutes I think, and just the detail work and amazing intro and sections (gameplay, sound, etc) Its amazing how well you played it. I haven't finished AC1 yet but personally the story just is bleh. I only like the whole assassin stuff but not the story. From that Bad section, I can say you've done your research and that is the best thing I ever seen people do. 5 stars, and Keep it up Kwing. Number 1.

I don't know why but the graphics besides cutscenes dont look as good as the first one, but most of the time AC2 looks better since AC1 mostly looks like everything was made of detailed clay...Maybe its the lighting

My only real complaint about the ending wasnt the story really i kinda figured they would go that route....my complaint is the difficulty...it WAS WAY TOO EASY! The end fight in the first game took me hours to beat - In AC2 It was just way too underwhelming...

I am not surprised that this game had a bad ending. I didn't like how it started. You have to run around in current times instead of Italy. I hated that. I also didn't like the matrix thing they had going on. It probaly was in AC1 I don' t own it. I would rather the events took place as you being an assassin in that time period. Bringing my view point into the video didn't make it any less professional many bloggers like the Amazing Atheist and others bash Christians and Religion all the time. The developers decided to put this in and I called them on it. Simple as that,. I have a responsibility to everyone in my audience Atheistic and Christains too. Besides I talked over with people at Ubisoft and discussed what I would bring up and it seemed ok.

I don't really think that this game is particularly anti-religious. I think its against organised religion which can become corrupt and power-hungry. This is shown as the enemies are the Knites Templar, who as you mentioned are not strictly religious and Ezio effectively says prayers to his assasination victims. Also, while this game is clearly sci-fi it still shows a version of reality which is still heavily based on Christian themes, with adam and eve and an all powerful god-like creator.
