Elephant abuse in Thailand is rampant. Do an internet search and you'll find plenty of information on how elephants are 'trained' It's called 'phajaan'. Even National Geographic has exposed what really goes on so tourists can ride an elephant. If you care for elephants at all, please don't ride them. You're supporting cruelty.
What a natural life for an elephant...This is worst than elephants in a circus. They should have her walking up that muddy hill and see how she would feel.
OMG those poor elephants having to carry those rather large humans and wooden cages on their poor backs, I feel really bad about this don't know why. Do you mind if I send this to In Defense of Animals? I mean for what not to do on vacation? Thanks, but I'm glad you had those fine adventures.

Jared is a little scared in the beginning. This was a huge muddy slick hill, and he'd just gotten bit by a bunch of fire ants from the trees.
