@cstanley1990 Accutane is not for scarring... try a glycolic peel from terisita skin online its like 40.00 way cheaper than paying 45-60 bucks getting it done with an esthetician. It works by peeling off layers of skin.

What facial cleanser was most effective for you while taking accutane? i've been on accutane for .. 120 days I think. I'm on 20mg a day at the moment though. I went onto 40, and it was unbearable for me. My lips were cracking, I couldn't talk because they started bleeding. etc. But anyways, your looking great! :)

i just wanted to say, anyone who is on accutane or going to start accutane, you should use CeraVe hydrating cleanser and CeraVe Moisturizing lotion. Best Stuff Ever. I used it when i was on accutane and it kept my face kinda moisturized. Also, i use it now that i am off accutane and it keeps my face clear, i have tried other cleansers and CeraVe is the only one that keeps my face clear. I recommened it for sure.

@ryanhofmann bullshit, washing with warm water takes off most of the oil on your face and pat drying with a towel takes the rest of it off. I have done this WITHOUT the use of soaps or cleansers and my face is 100% clear.

could anyone tell me if accutane is worth going on for acne that's not so visible, but under the surface (cystic?). my skin doesn't consistently look terrible or anything, but it's never clear, and i usually have multiple cystic pimples at a time, coming one after the other. i'm supposed to get get tested to see if i'm eligible.
I had to take prednisone when I had an allergic reaction to tetracycline. I got an extremely itchy rash all over my body, and I had to take ten (yes, ten) 5mg pills every day. So that didn't go well. I'm on accutane now, I have been for two weeks. God, I seriously hope this works.
