2007 SHELBY GT 500 NASHVILLE SUPER SPEEDWAY

I have had my 07 GT 500 since when they were first released. I have over 30 K on it now and live for getting on highways and punching it past whichever cute little sports cars I can find! Great car from 30 to 100 MPH, a great rush!

With a little seat time you could be fast. You're coasting too much and your corner speeds should be higher.

Stock tires suck plus prior that day I had an issue with the Scott Drake power steering cap leaking so I was somewhat babbying it the rest of the day.

would that have any thing to do with the leaked power steering fluid? i put a deposit on 2008 gt 500 that is supposed to be built next week, what i would like to know was it a factory problem or has to do with the mods?

No, I had purchased Shelby GT-500 5.4L 6 piece Billet Aluminum Underhood Cap Set.

and at that time the power steering cap had a small hole designed in it which allowed water to get in. I emailed Scott Drake the manufacture about it at the time and of course they said that was suppose to be there and I said no it's not. Not till they got more complaints did they redesign and send out new improved and FREE ones to everyone that bought them. Here is a Forum you will enjoy check it out.

No, I said uh what had happened was previously that day I had leaked power steering fluid due to a faulty aftermarket cap which I had told the manufacture that the cap was not right. The fluid had ran down the exhaust and was smoking from the rear so the corner judge flaged me in just incase there was a problem.

He passed the cayman because gt500 has way more power. while 0-60 is pretty close, after 60 gt500 will haul ass. at the beginning of 4th minute the driver started doing an excellent job. u could hear the tires squeak on EVERY corner he/she took. i don't know if it was a test or a mistake when it fishtailed twice but great job! cool video

The first few laps were warm up plus I was using stock tire which arent the best and it took awhile before the tires would act like I wanted but need to get different tires to get the car to handle like it could.
