@Buemmo The AI range is the range at which the ship is going to try and stay in. So an AI range of 350 means your ship (AI) will try to stay at roughly 335-365 away from its targeted opponent. It can also be used to augment its searching ability, just be careful.

I gonna use that for my artillery ship ^^ Has a range of 1700 metres and carries 4 mini missile batteries which i upgraded " a bit" : They fire 30 rockets per salvo (yeah, a total of 120 missiles) reload of 300 and 20 damage per rocket. The batteries themself dont turn but the rockets have a turning factor of 25 and it attacks an enemy ship no matter where its located. The missiles turn around and BOOM! ^^ 20 Damage per rocket * 120 rockets = 240 Damage per salvo :)

@TheHalycon The version I have for Shipmaker is 4.0.1 and my Battleships Forever is 0.90.1. do you have a copy of the shipmaker 3.0 that I could have? I've come back to BSF after a very long absence and my old fleet doesn't load in SM4.

what exactly does AI range do? Is that the range enemies will have to get in before the ship attacks them?
