Marika Rökk was not "hungarian". Marikka Rökk was born in Cairo (Egypt) and her parents were native hungarian german-speakers and thereby had automatically the german nationality granted when she decided to settle in Germany (when she was offered a contract by the UFA) at the end of the 1930s.
hilarious! i don't think we can judge these performers caught up in the nazi entertainment, she was hungarian and didn't have the option of going home. they must answer their own demons
