@stethoscanomaly Although I agree in some ways, you can't compare those artists, they're too different. µ-ziq compares quite well, his drums being very dynamic and his mastering shows a sorta super-eq on the top and low ends making it hard to listen to on allot of monitors. But I wouldn't say he is boring, just different.

The other thing is that there are some fillers on Lunatic that I'd rather have put on a side EP than an album. Take the best songs from Brace Yourself and Lunatic (which are from the same era), release them in 1996 one month before RDJ with a better sound quality and you simply get one of if not the best electronic album of all time

there are some really contemporary ideas in this one still...especially when you consider some of Flying Lotus' material.
I don't really understand the point of making comparisons to all the other "IDM" producers. Either you have an appreciation for this..or you don't.
