  • @10cookman That's just it. When it comes to cooking you can't put down only 1 "official" way to make it. Besides, with your numbers, how many people does that feed? How many servings? See my point? And you say heavy cream. "Real" carbonara doesn't have cream in it. Just like risotto, no cream, not when you actually know how to make it. I've had Carbonara with cream and without and they're both tasty. There's as many ways to make a dish as there are Italian grandmas...and 95% of them are great.
