@Macchuss It's not a L4D rip-off. Before Killing Floor was released as a stand-alone game it was originally a Unreal Tournament 2004 mod that was released in Aug. 2007. L4D didn't come out til Nov. 2008.

Also this game still is pretty popular, you can find a server quite easily full of people.

@Macchuss Agreed. L4D has some crazy sales number but I wouldn't say there are that many playing either although mods are drawing them back a little. The one game that you are guaranteed to have players on is Counter Strike. For me I never got into it but every time I'm on there the servers are full to the tilt.

I don't know why all noobs buy Combat Armour in first wave, second wave etc. When you buy only CA at the first wave with your all money, how da hell will you kill zombies with your 9mm ? I normaly buy Combat Armour at wave 8 when its to wave 10 becuz its kinda gets dangerous... So please stop wasting your money on CA and kill zombies with better weapons.

@surafel911 You're and idiot. Just because it's about zombies doesn't mean it's a rip-off. Left 4 Dead has campaigns, Killing Floor has different maps. In Left 4 Dead, you have 4 different characters, and you get your weapons at the beggining. In Killing Floor, you have to buy your weapons with the money you get killing zombies. In Left 4 Dead you must get to certain place to win. In Killing Floor you have to finish all the waves. So shut up and use your brain, if you have one,

i used to play this game, then i got left 4 dead 2, i modded my l4d2 so all 8 survivors (zoey,coach,bill,francis,nick,­ellis,rochelle,louis) are all in it. got boring after a long time of gameplay. this game never got boring but i never played on multiplayer because i had non steam version. the hive is my favorite custom map for killing floor, if you like resident evil original movie you will enjoy it quite a bit.
