I hate it when people take their jobs too seriously. I was at this coffee shop with a date and I went to refill our cups, like a gentleman. The guy at the counter says, "She didn't pay for the $.50 refill." and I said back to him very calmly with a wry smile on my face, "Oh, well you can take it out of the $1 tip I gave you for handing me a cup."
