Good question! I wouldn't know about Chinese, but Catalan, Spanish German and French definitely do have one-liners, even if they are called differently.
I'd say it would have to be the best in any language, with the sole flaw of being only understandable by the people who could relate to the unexpected New England weather. But despite that, it gets extra bonus points for being so refinedly phrased!
Just found this vid--miss the referrals from Hank and John. Not quite into the ning thing yet... Is there a way to alert us when you post new Minutes? Your weather is a lot like Michigan's--I love it! (Lived in So. Cal. for too many years--BOOORRRING!)
Nice work. Looking forward to more of them. How about 1 minute to explain what makes building "A" your favourite piece of architecture, and what makes building "B" your least favourite. I'd be interested to know. - Stu
Were there thunderstorms in your town today? It made for a gloomy day. I was in school, and we could actually hear the rain even in a room with no windows. The thunder was pretty scary too.
Seeing sbtom bundled up--albeit briefly--reminds me of the halcyon days of early 07. Great video, great song, and if they're all a minute, can we have more of them? -John
Remember when we could count the number of nerdfighters using only our fingers, toes, and teeth? Suggestions for Just a Minute are always welcome, John.
As a comment to one of your other video posts, for the first year or so of the Martian rovers Spirit and Opportunity, I'd check the downloads almost daily. There was no obvious multicellular fossil life and geology by itself isn't my interest. I have to go look again though. -Greg
"New England's weather is a comedy show of atmospheric one-liners"
That line is probably the best one-liner I've heard this trimester, even if I had a subject partially dedicated to one-liners! ~ Marta

The best English one-liner, or best in any language? Do other languages even have one-liners? Are Chinese one-liners vertical?
I miss school, so many questions that need answers.

In New England, we can be playing in the snow and sunning on the beach all on one day.

1 minute? Wow that's short.
That was an amazing song Tom, you're a good singer :D I was working on a song for Abby too, but my computer doesn't seem to agree with my camera.

It will only seem short if we're having fun, that's the plan most of the time.

all vidoes in 2008 only 1 minute? Oh no! Thats so much less namlhots entertainment, information and education.
I pupose you make all 2008 videos 4 minutes.

At least North Dakota is consistently inconsistent instead of all this nearly predictable unpredictability here in New England.
Seriously.

The songbirds were movie magic, but we actually did have winter thunderstorms today!

Kinda makes me feel glad that I live in California . . .
Kinda makes me sad that you have to deal with spotty weather . . .
Oh well all will be back to the way it should be soon! -Mike

I just finally figured out 'namlhots'! D'oh!
Nice song! That old saying about if you don't like New England weather, wait a minute and it'll change is definitely true.

We had a 50o F temperature swing in the last week.

I've never really thought about the 'namlhots' but now that you mentioned it, I figured it out too. :)
