I am English. I have many English heroes. Churchill, Shakespeare, Turner, Nelson, Keith Richards. Adore them. Steve is not English, but he comes top of the list.
Excellent pics of the King of Cool. Thanx so much for this video. watching it. The music is a little different than expected, but still enjoyed the video very much.
When he was diagnosed with a tumor that couldn't be operated on without certain cardiac arrest by U.S.physicians(advising not to go through with any surgery), McQueen goes to Mexico and gets the tumor removed, unfortunately the the U.S. Doctors were right, and he died by Cardiac Arrest, Less than 24 hours after the Surgery. McQueen was a Rebel until the very end. R.I.P.
big fan off Steve Mc Queen. I Named my son after Steve. One of the best actors of all times.. As well Terence Hill and Bud Spencer... Ride ém Cowboy.... and very GOODLOOKING. Thanks for this upload..

When I was on active duty in the USMC rumor had it that McQueen took and Amtrack and drove it through Oceanside, Ca. Never found out if it was true or not but I sure wouldn't put it past him. G-d bless him wherever his soul is.
The greatest physical actor of the modern era. He could convey such a range of emotion with just a gesture, a look, lifted eyebrow, or a stare. He had a hesitation gesture that he often used. In Sand Pebbles and after he gets chewed out by the Captain, he walks out on deck, puts his hat on, then stops his left hand midway to the pole as if he's thinking about what had just happened, and then lets it go. A simple almost unnoticeable gesture, but one which conveys what words of dialogue could not.
The Americans speak....ENGLISH. Here in Japan, the Yanks (I love the USA, by the way) wear shit tracksuits. The English wear cool gear. jun7per: if you hate England, find yr own language. Wanker. Respect to Steve - great English name, eh?! Go Steve.
He'll always be number one,..no matter what. Theres lots of good looking guys in film, but none of them could even stand next to Steve McQueen. He'd make them all look insignifigant and puny.
Steve was one of those rare actors that had PRESENCE on film. Paul Newman/Marlon Brando/Brad Pitt/Sean Connery and a few others had/ahave it.Love him or not, you can't help but watch. I thought he was great!
McQueen often had sex with men, especially if they were bikers or race car drivers. He had a tumultuous sexual relationship with James Dean, and a longer love/hate affair with Paul Newman. Other sexual liaisons developed with Peter Lawford, Sal Mineo, Rock Hudson, Chuck Connors, and George Peppard.
On grał tak, że gdyby w życiu znalazł się na miejscu postaci granej przez niego w filmie, zachowałby sie tak samo. :D Po prostu był sobą planie. Coolest Actor Ever. :)
Great tribute to a true legend of the screen. My favourite all time McQueen moment is when he goes back into the cooler for the last time on The Great Escape which I see you've included. Nice work
What's the name of the p.o.w.-ww2-movie you see in the 2nd quarter of this clip? But by the way, the guy that's doing the motorcycle-stunts in that movie, guess what that's Steve himself.
Steve was mates with Bruce Lee and in Bruce Lees biography the story goes that Bruce was thinking of buying a Porsche and Steve took Bruce for a ride in his Porsche down Mull Holland drive and Bruce was shall we say ever so slightly impressed & thought he was gonna die sitting next to Steve McQueen. Go Steve.
While Steve was filming Thomas Crown in 60's,(in Boston) he was hurrying to get to work one morning and zipped his sports car into a lawyers assigned parking space. The lawyer yelled,"Hey, thats my space!" McQueen explained he was running late, asked for the guys business card and apologized. At 5:00 that afternoon, Steve shows up in the office and invites the lawyer and the whole office out for drinks in a local bar, picked up the tab, class act!
what the name of this song and who sing it does any body know? it so beautiful and it good chioce for the tribute than the other one it's best tribute for steve mcqueen i put it in my favorit and every time rate it owesome

I actually prefer the music here. The Sheryl Crow song isn't even good, first of all, and it's already been used anyway, so kudos to the creator for the originality.
