how come this was never in any economic textbooks that I read??? haha just goes to show you how some authors are when they write economic textbooks for students and people interested in the subject like me...very informative video, I was not aware of this 10 step approach on how governments grow, I hope it never gets to stage 10 like over in Egypt now after Mubarak's regime was overthrown!! I'd say US is at the beginning of stage 5 now, maybe I'm wrong but I'm not an American :P lol

Thanks for posting. This reminds me the theory of price control, developed by Ludwig von Mises (Price control, Forced sales, Rationing, Regulation of production and distribution, Central planning). An article explaining this is "Europe's Internet Troubles" by Fernando Herrera-Gonzalez.

@DanMorin007 you sound like an economics major or professor the way you went about describing that article!! haha...I don't know much about the theory of price control but I know enough about the basics on how the economy works and functions, and about the circular flow of income in a free-market economy where money changes hands b/w consumers (households) and producers (firms). S + T + M = I + G + X where total leakages equal total injections in an economy. This is a simplified model of course

Im affraid youre right. America is prepaing to keep its consumer slaves inside its consumer gulag of an economy. Unfortunate for them and all Americans is they dont know shit about economics and how to make a system work. Its like those communist countries that can only get their system to work by killing 1/3rd of their population.
