thank you for this video blog. I'm actually scheduled for surgery next week on Wednesday and I just found out I will have some relatives coming in from out of town the following week. I am scared that I will be "discovered". This blog helps a lot, if this is what you look like day 3 or day 4 after surgery then you looked very well despite the swelling. thanks for doing this blog.

Thanks soooo much for your post! I just had a chin implant done and you're the only person I can find on the web who showed what it actually looks like after 4-5 days after surgery... I'm over here freaking out because my face is swollen and my chin looks huge, i can't close my mouth... I look like a cartoon!!! But I see your chin is swollen here but on your 11 month it went down a lot.... I actually started crying today thinking what did i do to myself..... did that happen to u?

@khristyle2 Hey! I totally went through the same kind of emotions. I was really scared that I had changed my face in a way that I wasn't expecting. The swelling in your face will decrease a lot in the next few months and will continue to decrease during the next year. I posted a slideshow of what my face looked like at about 3 months post surgery. Check it out and I hope it gives you a lot more confidence. :) Congradulations on your surgery! I am excited for you! @KarahGray : You look gorgeous with your new face. I'm amazed how naturally looking after cosmetic surgery. Anyway, I just had eyelid surgery two weeks ago. And I'm still waiting for my eyes to even out. Both eyelids have assymetry issues. My right side is drooping. My left side have eyelashes that point in all directions. I look like a freak. Do you think it's too soon to judge the success or failure of my eyelid surgery?
