I deleted this from my favorites and put in Ann Peebles labeled version. After listening to two of Ann's versions for weeks, I relistened to some of Janis & Ann again. This does sound like Janis in some of her lesser known & earlier songs. I don't know who it is, but it does have the earmarks of Janis if you listen close. I'll do more research, but the voice doesn't sound like the versions of Ann Peebles available on ututube. It does not have the same quality. BTW I love Ann Peebles version.
