I run mine on a mono amp at about 850 it's rated for 750 rms and 1500 peak but peak means shit all it is when it's hitting on a 1500 peak amp it will push 1500 when notes hit bad for the sub I have a friend blow one up I've had mine for 7 months now and I've made 140 db. Champ, its a custom built and designed SQ box. Its about 3-3.5cu ft, which is optimal for this sub - its specs have been modelled to get the correct size box.
It'd sound laggy and peaky in a ported box which is not what I want. It hits tighter than 10" subs now that its being fed 1000rms.
Next time I record it I'll use a video camera, not a digi cam.
I used a Canon digi cam.....a630 or sumtin, I'm gunna use my vid cam next time so hopefully it doesnt just sound like derr d derrrrrr. How loud... I dont know yet. I'd guess over 120dbs with a sealed box, though I've got nothin to compare it to. voice becomes distorted when you try and speak tho. gets painful pretty quick when i play BME Click by lil jon
