I think that Bane probably won't be so bad in Dark Knight Rises, knowing how Nolan's Style usually is. Nolan wouldn't do Bane like Batman and Robin, he would do a sinister villain. Not to mention the fact that if Bane isn't enough, Ra's Al Ghul will be behind this Bane's origin, as Liam Neeson is returning for this film.
I think Bane is simply the product of one of Ra's special formulas. It may be possible that Ra's discovered some sort of chemical formula that slows aging, which I see as possible thing to leave as a tribute to the original Ra's Al Ghul. This formula also makes the user incredibly strong, as Ra's could pound down Bruce Wayne/Batman in a brawl. With a few alterations, the man who will become Bane is Ra's heir, but he decides to alter the formula, so that now he is even stronger.
@SuperMicklovin Liam Neeson will be in the film. Although it is possible that Ra's is Dead. Come to think about it, since Ra's was behind whatever is supernatural in the Batman films, he may be behind the origin of Bane by being the one who invents the super-steroid called Venom. Ra's Al Ghul may also have trained Bane how to fight well and effectively, and had him as a sleeper agent to take on Batman. Either way, Ra's Al Ghul is a pivotal character behind Batman in the Nolan series.
@suemorphplus2009 There is a buzz that Marion Cotillard will be portraying Talia, Ra's daughter, and that she will be helping Bane. Liam Neeson will most likely be appearing as part of a flashback.
@Skeletonwitharaygun And who are you to say whether or not it won't be? None of us have seen the movie yet, why don't we all wait till The Dark Knight Rises to be released then speculate on whether or not it portrayed Bane properly. I hate how people jump to conclusions faster than a man getting a blowjob from Monica Lewinsky.
A character's accent is as much of a trademark as their wardrobe.
And, if memory serves, the last couple X-Movies before Wolverine and First Class didn't do too well (a bit more accuracy may have made the difference, lol).
Lol. But yeah, I know. I think he was the foreign guy in Inception. Maybe he can fake a Spanish accent. It shouldn't be too hard... I mean, I can and I'm no where near Hispanic.
See, this is why the Batman & Robin 1997 film sucks dick!!! Bane is very intelligent in the comic books, and in the movie, he's big and stupid!!! That movie is the WORST in the Batman film series, and the new Batman films can kick the movie's ass any day!!!!!
batman was wounded, and even if bane is he most powerfull villain without superpowers we must realise that batman could easy defeat any of his adversaries, if he was willing to kill, as they are (joker, penguin, two face and bane). I like the way he fights even when is wounded, as here. Anyway i don't understand why they keep making this batman vs bane fights in the tv shows, in the comic books bane come to respect batman and they not fight each other anymore.
@2xN Yeah I suppose but just because someone looks white doesn't mean they don't have any Spanish heritage. Bane could have ancestors from Spain for all we know, not that it matters.
@megadeus You're right. I said spanish just to address why Bane had a spanish accent. But yeah I know he was born in a central american prison. I should have just said that I guess.
Yep, you're right. It is: "Batman, Mystery of the Batwoman". But Bane's voice actor in this sequence, and in the movie, is terrible compared to his voice in Batman TAS.

He's already obviously white.
Why give him another accent besides his own?
Movies usually just Igor the characters accent.
Like in the x men movies.
Pyro was lacking his Australian accent.
And juggernaut had a Brit accent.

He had a chance to make something awesome.
But I feel that he failed.
Skeletonwitharaygun 7 months ago
@Skeletonwitharaygun What made Batman lame in Nolan series in your opinion ?
KlaymenDel 7 months ago
@KlaymenDel
His voice.
He depends on Lucius Fox.
He never mentions his parents in TDK and very little in begins.
The fact that he wants to give up being batman so early in his career.
He's hardly the Sherlock holmes level detective that batman is know for being.
Skeletonwitharaygun 7 months ago
@Skeletonwitharaygun Because he's portraying a character of Hispanic descent.
