mist....We are here to experience life, life has much good and bad, we have free agency to choose our path. We, as parents try to give our children all the necessary info to get thru life, but we can't make all their choices for them or they won't learn. the resurrection story is in no way unique to the bible and jesus. the bible is the only place in which jesus is spoken of(besides the qu'ran another religious text) and there is nothing to suggest jesus ever lived let alone died and came back to life. the new testament was written in accordance of, not by. everything in the bible is based on second and third hand accounts. nothing was written by who they were claimed to be wriiten by.

I just don't buy that you would have to have a relationship with god to have his forgiveness. It isn't as if god would be hampered by human emotions that would keep god from...hmm. Even though im an athiest. I respect your thought of god. But the reason i dont believe is all the idiotic things the bible says and how hypocritical it is. well thats the main reason but the other reason is theres other planets and galaxies and all these things that god obviously didnt create and just think about this. You obviously didn't understand what I wrote. FYI, my undergrad was in Physics. I put science in quotes because these programs are designed as spectacles, not educational. If these programs really cared about science, they would show more stuff on biology, chemistry, physics, etc., instead of just titillating their viewers. So might I suggest you calm down, get a glass of water, and get your panties out of their knot. Respectfully...

Just one thing: Combining the sentences: "panties out of their knot" and "respectfully"....are totally contradictory and it only demonstrates that your bachelor and masters are just pieces of paper on a wall!

Also another definition of respect is an act of giving particular attention or consideration, which is exactly what I did with my response to your comment. So it was not contradictory in respect to the remark you noted. My degrees, which BTW are not on the wall, may not indicate I am knowledgeable, but they certainly do not mean that I am a push-over.
