  • love it when the music kicks in at 3:11

    an amazing film

  • Clint is probably thinkin "damn should of brought some popcorn.

  • The best scene from any film ive ever seen, the music is out of this world, an as for clint he looks the dogs bollocks, i know its been said before but it is FUCKING TIMELESS.

  • 4 person couldn't stand it out

  • The shot at 1:10 is as if time itself is standing still to watch the clash of these two men. Fucking timeless, immaculate film , I've fallen in love with this scene multiple times.

  • Epic. Classic. Iconic. Nowadays there are no actors with such character and facial expressions. All were great in this superbly well directed scene. Definitely one of the best westerns of all times. Thanks for posting.

  • mortimer is in ***** and two seconds later the indio is in *******

  • OMG amazing escene

  • sick acting

    sick cinematography

    sick music

  • love the shot at 1:53

  • The music set the whole thing off! Revenge, Death, Honour, Truth, Respect, Trust.......everything God promised us, and what we as men live (and die) by. All set to this fantastic music. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @yerman07 Very nicely obseverved. Except though, I would add that praying for the fallen man's soul is also worth doing, for the very sake of keeping hope alive overall, for all time..

  • Indio was the more accurate shot, but he was just too slow on the draw. Damn!

  • @MsPsycho29 I don't know about that, didn't see him shooting any apples off that tree like Col. Mortimer!

  • @RoadNasty Watch how he steps out of the adobe a shoots the rifstol out of the Colonel's hand. Great shot!

  • @MsPsycho29 True....but perhaps he was really trying to take a "body shot" on the Colonel and was off target.....!

  • The music set the whole thing off! Revenge, death, honour, truth, all men's strongest qualities......set to this music...C'mon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The most frightening scene in history, where practically nothing occurs. I don't know how those boys do it, but they scare the hell outa me every time. D:

  • Very Careless you old man, Try this, Now we Start...!!!!!!!!

  • 2;06 amazing eyes look!!

  • john wayne doesnt belong in this kind of film imo.

  • @wkbassett Your exactly right...

John had his own thing going, "the good guys always win and ride into the sunset..."

LVC and CE had to play the devils advocate to the normal "happy" Westerns to show that the person who wins, isn't always 20 something and sharply dressed...

  • @wkbassett He would have lost anyway ;)

  • @wkbassett no white hats allowed

  • ANGEL EYES

  • definatly the best western ever

  • All three of them have so incredible faces!

  • I like Indio alot in this movie ! A great performance by Gian Maria Volonte ! Bravo !

  • @MadWebHacker me too, but actually he did this (and for a fisfull of dollars) just for the money :)

  • I quite fancied Indio! It's okay, I'm a lady!

  • This scene is masterful. Van Cleef's face says it all without ever changing his expression, Volonte' studies Van Cleef's face like he's searching for something in it. And Volonte' said he didn't take this movie seriously - just did it for the money! Genius!

  • A cool western or action movie they should've made should've included these three Clint, Lee, and Gian plus John Wayne, Steve McQueen, and Charles Bronson. I'd say that that would've been one bad-ass good movie. Too bad all of the above are deceased except for Clint. Can't wait to see Hereafter.

  • @ColonelCrane

well I agree exept Wayne, he's out of these guys leauge (imo)

  • BRAVO indeed sad to think john wayne comes first if you asked most people to think of a famous cowboy, in my books clint & co were in a higher class.

  • The best of the trilogy IMHO - Mortimer's refusal to accept any reward money at the end means he has a higher moral purpose than Clint's anti-hero character

  • @TheZanipolo Can't agree more - the Trilogy is simply great and ground breaking, and "For a Few Dollars More" is the real gem of Sergio's vision.

  • NOW WE START! epic..

  • The makers of the Jonah Hex movie should have studied the "man with no name" trilogy to show what a REAL bad-ass western is.

  • What is the name of the music that starts at 3:17?

  • I seriously want a pocket watch like that.... Everytime I here it, it gives me the chills...

  • I have a picture from this scene with Clint Eastwood, hanging on the wall.

  • the indian look as he did not take a shower for couple weeks

  • @sietepeo1

And back in the old Wild West, that was usual. Cowboys didn't take a bath for weeks.

  • Do you think that dudes like that can be now movies stars ? Idont think so the today stars are so worried about look pretty and homos, than forget how to be a real man.

  • These men showed the world what is acting. Now days there are few who can perform aswell these three men. They are truly legend even in finland =)

  • kick ass performance!

  • ya lee van cleef was great in acting but nobody recogniizes it AND NOW WE START

  • Good ol angel eyes

  • I don't think this scene would work if you swapped out any of the actors - brilliant acting by all of them.

  • el indio was a terrific bad guy. His eyes are stunning. This scene doesn't do it justice, but his eyes are beautiful. Does that sound weird? Maybe. Wanna know what is weirder? I'm a guy and I say this.

  • One of the greatest duels in Western history.

  • now this is a real mother F in movie

  • Une des plus belles scènes du cinéma depuis qu'il existe. One of the most beautiful scenes of cinema, since it exists.

  • You can see another person in the shot at the bottom left hand corner of the screen at 3:20

  • @joerouleau54 it's a horse's tail, not a person, lol

  • @bekoesgay lol I thought I deleted that comment. I realized that after I wrote it.

  • @joerouleau54 No, that's LVC's horse right there.

  • 4 people will get shot in the head by clint eastwood

  • Lucky those pocket watches had amplifiers and hidden speakers

  • Is that song in Harry potter????

  • @lanuza18 LOl the very beggining

  • what the hell happened to films like this!? now have iron man...special effects are no substitute for acting!

  • This is what I would call Perfection ....

  • To bad this song version was never released :-(

  • Love the "You can use my pistol, but don't twirl it!" look from Clint at the end.

  • oh god i hope my band plays this song

  • This is what I call Acting.

Lee Van Cleef seems to do nothing in this clip, but you can see all of his anger and revenge in his face.

By the end, Indio has the eyes death stare him down as the chimes end and he knows what a terrible blunder he has encountered...

  • @VISIONmg86 yeah i mean, lee's acting in this is exceptional even though he doesn't actually do anything. i mean it's all in his expression you know what i mean?

  • @VISIONmg86

Everything important is said with their facial gestures and not their voice.

This is what makes this film so great. None of that "YOU KILLED MY FAMILY, OH YOU GAN' GET IT NOW NIGGA, NOONE MESSES WITH THE FEZ"

This is cinematography, suspense and acting at it's greatest.

  • Solo il suono del carillon fà capire quanto è epico questo film. Un kolossal. Onore al grande Sergio Leone

  • Clint eastwood and the guy who played the bad in the good the bad and the ugly, and again a three people duel... I need to see that movie

  • lee van cleef has the scariest eyes ive ever seen

  • Is that dude supposed to be Mexican? He has the curliest, featheriest hair of any Mexican I've ever seen. Also nice pants.

  • "......Bravo."

  • this scene is just so great.

  • 4 mexicans disliked this video.

  • I'm not gay, but in this final duel Gian Maria Volonté portrays the epitome of masculinity, I bet his shit is even unshaven....

  • @MickeyLove01 WTF are you talking about? Who ever shave his 'thing'?

  • @studioworks1990 You obviously don't understand my comment. Is your first language English?

  • @MickeyLove01 No English is not my first language. Sorry for anything.

  • @studioworks1990 Don't apologise, what I mean by my comment is that Volonte is the ultimate male in this piece.

  • god if that man raped my sister i would do the same thing for a sheriff

  • Eastwood & Van Cleef's first movie together. Just give me a marathon of spaghetti western for one one day. I will watch every single minute of it. Classic movie.

  • the best western film i ve ever seen

  • @SAMIDC20 Agreed- there is just something timeless, enduring, and highly compelling about this movie. A hundred years from now they'll be saying the same thing.

  • @RoadNasty yeh sure

  • Lee van Cleef an Clint are TRUE legends!, nobody Compares!.

  • @100percentbabeLOL

Van Cleef definitely one of the most underrated actors.

  • "Now we start". Epic

  • this is my all time fav finale.........the music is as brilliant as the story told that ties it all to this......hehehehe "now we start"

  • gotta love the angel eyes

  • Best quote I heard was - "Lee Van Cleef, the only man who has a profile when he's facing you"! One of the best scenes from a CE movie, and there are many more!

  • When i was younger i thought hot damn thats a advance pocket watch with all those trumpets sounding out of it!

  • Love this piece of music, and the film.

  • This is the way a man should die. Facing his past. (Bravo!!)

  • AMAZING :D i love the music

  • Red DEAD moment .

  • @nieves99 The entire game of Red Dead was a dollars trilogy moment.

  • @nieves99 not really

  • I would recomend watching : IL BUONO IL BRUTTO IL CATTIVO S.MARIA LA CARITA.

The italian's cover...if you want to leave a comment thanks .

  • BRAVO!!!!!! GREATEST GUNFIGHT SCENE EVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • now we start

  • Everyone allways praises Clint Eastwood, But lee Van-Cleef was a top dude as well

  • @paulm696

And so was Gian Mario Volonte!

  • @paulm696 THANK YOU!

  • Fuck my Ipod, Im gonna get one of those fancy pocket watches.

  • Wonderfull! Clint is my god :)

  • Always get a shiver down my spine when Eastwood says "Now we start". Deffinately one of the best films ever made

  • A true masterpiece with great acting. Volonte is superb as psycho El Indio.

  • Comment removed

  • 3 people have absolutely no taste.

  • There are no more such great movies today!

  • Watched it yesterday, I love it! Indio's character is just great.

  • J'adore! Les duels de Sergio Leone sont tellement chargés d'émotion. Même les crapules y prennent une dimension héroïque.

  • Comment removed

  • 2:26 - I love that face Clint Eastwood makes... literally... "bitch please, don't even think about it"

    2:28 - Indio "Oh alright... :("

  • great movies have great soundtracks

  • "Now we start..."

  • probably if i'm not mistaken, the best duel scene of any movie ever made

  • a lot of people say that Leone made made some of the best westerns ever, that to me is treason because i think he made the BEST westerns ever and he made some of the best movies period

  • The best delivered "Bravo." in movie history.

  • superb casting and direction

  • LOL LEE FUCKED UP EL INDIO ASS CLASSIC!!!!!! FAST ON THE DRAW DAMN!!!!!

  • Son of a bitch I've never even seen the movie, I watch 3 minutes of this n I was more into it then any movie that I watched the entire thing out today.. Then I watched the movie n I was like.. FFFFFFFFFFUCK THAT WAS AWESOME.

  • @CyanideTreets Welcome to the club on FAFDM - that's why it's ranked as one of IMDB's greatest 250 movies of all time!

  • Mano a mano, just like men should do it.great film

  • Ennio Morricone music's perfect.

  • lee van cleef,cool as f__k.

  • eastwood moves that cigar from one side of his mouth to the other in all three final duals

  • From 4:00 to about 4:34 it's as if time itself is standing still.......

  • This scene gives me goosebumps.

  • ha ha why the hell do you have to come up indio thinks at 2.45 love that piece!! ha ha

  • "Bravo!"

  • i have to say with understanding the back story and the whole music and feeling the tension and the emotions of the characters and the music this is the most powerful part in the movie and is very dramatic and this is really great and this is more of a personal fight and not some random fight cause some guy not tip ur drink over very powerful

  • hey? aint that the same circle they used in the good bad and ugly?

  • @gunny556fly not the SAME one, but yes, in a sence that was Leone's "trademark" if you will.

  • @gunny556fly No, that scene in the G,B,&U was shot in central Spain to the north, the circle used in FAFDM is in extreme southern Spain.

  • @gunny556fly no that was in a graveyard, this is near settlements

there were many circles in the old Wild west, probably because they were good for duelling :p

  • @IsilionNELE uuuhhhhh i think youve been brain washed by hollywood buddy! it was very rare for a duel to break out mostley just your avrage bar fight of course boose and testosterone well you know how that ends!

  • @gunny556fly i was being sarcastic -.-

i thought the "there were many circles" was a give away

  • Bravo!

  • red dead redemption

  • One of THE scenes from sixties cinema. Legendary actors, exquisite score.

  • Flim great

    Channels invite you to paradise

  • i love it

  • Don't make em like this anymore, that's for sure...

  • "When a man with a pistol meets a man with a pistol-rifle hybrid, the man with the pistol will shoot it out of his hands and a man with a rifle will give him a pistol and then the other man with a pistol is a dead man."

  • This scene is simply brilliant and Ennio Morricone made a perfect score!

  • Interesting idea, what would have happened if Van Cleef lost , It would have been a pointless victory seen that Eastwood would have shot his foe.

  • @STHFGDBY East woods character wouldnt have been phased should mortimer have died, the most he would have said something funny in a dark way. his character is more of an anti hero than a hero

  • this is cut short.

i found the whole scene but can't post the link...search for it,it's worth it.

  • Raw and powerful; cinematic brilliance...One of my favourite scenes of all time. Don't mess with my sister or I'll kill you!!!!!!!!!!

  • Colonel Mortimer's face, 2:00 - 2:02 --- Priceless.

  • Ramone, Indio, and Angel Eyes- the three greatest villains ever.

  • pure cinematic badassery

  • a film never surpassed,completely timeless presentation

  • E.P.I.C. El Indio is fucking cool tho aint he?

  • @noz96...That's what I've been saying all along! El Indio's character is the coolest stereotype of a Mexican....ever! BTW, I have no problem saying this because I'm Mexican myself. Gian Maria Volonté was superb in the role of El Indio. Hats off to the Italians! They sure are some great actors and directors.

  • HERE FROM ARGENTINA: CLINT EASTWOOD THE BEST ACTOR EVER HIS PRESENCE ACTITUD AND TRANQUILITY IS PERFECT. AND HIS STILE IT'S SO PARTICULAR AND DEFINFED TENDENCES. GREAT MUSIC. HISTORIC SUCCEFULL FILM

  • bravo, maestro, simply bravo

  • This scene gives me goosebumps. I love this movie! Amazing!

  • The moment when Clint steps in is so awsome, god this man is so fuckin cool... Clint as lonely gunman in Leones movies is the coolest character in movie history !!!

  • Italian "Spagetti westerns" are the best westerns ever made. They are even better than the American movies. They have the feeling of being transported back in time and have an authentic feel to them. Ennio Morricone's music help set the mood perfectly as well as being magnificent pieces of music in themselves. I am an Aussie but I want to say "sorry Yank the Italians make better westerns than you" They have the grit that your whitewashed movies lack. They are the real thing. Yours are plastic.

  • @CaptainCook1778 To that, I say BRAVO!

  • @CaptainCook1778 I couldnt agree more. The atmosfere of old wild west is truly represented only in Leones movies. What Morricone, Leone and Eastwood created is epic, movie history, perfection for eternity and it will never be reached again, no matter how much money they spend. This is the reason why they don't make westerns any more... it can't be better than this !!!

  • @CaptainCook1778 have to admit that you're right. most American westerns aren't real enough and lack that suspense that's created in his movies. its just gun smoke and one liners. ennio is the thing that ties the ribbon on these movies though. but that scene in the remake of 3:10 to Yuma where Ben wade (Russel Crowe) kills all his men, is awesome.

  • @CaptainCook1778 Real pr
