  • Grand Master Jimmy H. Woo said that "San Soo, means hand to hand combat.

  • What is San Soo mean? I've studied Wing Chun and came across Kung fu San soo

  • Master Lee has MMA experience. He also has trained MMA fighters for organizations like King of the Cage. If you Watch my MMA Documentary "Unscripted" you will see him there.

But you are right about one thing..That was a stupid comment.

  • @pompster2 im one of lee's student, i was wondering if u can make a video of staff forms

  • You guys should enter MMA competitions

  • @Ninjabarbour What a stupid comment ...

    lol

  • I weigh over 300 lbs. Master Lee weighs about 175. My first visit to his class he told me to swing at him full speed. I did. I then was staring at my feet while they were in the air and I was being thrown to the ground. Anyone seeing him on the street would never guess that this man could literally end your life in about 10 seconds. San soo is the truth.

  • @mevale100 sup, whats ur name do u take the adult class? im also one of his students

  • Hm, my Guru Besar Rudy Terlinden, studied with Jimmy Woo, I never heard him about effective grappling techniques within San Soo, were they implemented in time?

  • excellent-as a side note i studied choy Ley Fut -with a Howard Kiyabu in Hawaii many years ago- some of the tactics shown herre are the same-oldsgtmajusmc

  • always good to see you. Great San Soo. You do it right. Master Gary Sims

  • Hello Master Lee this Si-Gun Velazquez from Angels Black Tiger Academy from Banning, I'm happy that your school is doing good!! I haven't have the honor of meting you. the door of my school are always open! please let me know of your events so we can support. sincerely Si Gung A.A.A. Velazquez

  • I am a student of master lees if you came into his studio he would be happy to show you what you are watching on this video are moves and technics

  • What happens when the opponent isn't just standing there letting you kick his ass? Seriously, I'm interested in learning, but what do you do when an attacker is ducking and blocking or swinging at you?

  • @pellykate learn the art, find out why that second fist doesnt matter

  • @pellykate you really gotta go and check out a class and talk with the Master, looking around on youtube or anywhere else on the net just does not cut it, honestly you will be glad you made the effort.

  • @pellykate You do the same thing that is why we have the element of surprise but come in and check it out if u live near by!

  • @pellykate ...they dont have the chance.......I can't explain it well enough but go check it out...throw a punch at someone proficient in san soo and the next thing you will see is ground....its just that fast

  • @pellykate

    Hello pellykate,

We have to train this way, because if we chose to spar, we would severely hurt each other, these are not sport techniques, these are techniques made for combat, whether it be for the military or for the streets.

Therefore we train with a freestyle type of sparring, where one person attacks and the other uses his kung fu san soo techniques without hurting his work out partner.

This way you can practice your techniques and get faster and better at them.

  • @pellykate ok first of all, u move fast, not in slow motion, hes going slow so he dosent hurt the guy, second when he punches, you either block him or grab him to get him off center, once he is off his center, he is screwed

  • Great vid i give it a 10

  • a good friend of mine by the name of arthur took this class for a while. when he moved back in with his mom i saw him again for the first time in 4 or 5 yrs. i was already proficient in boxing and wrestling and even had a lil bit of various styles of kickboxing, but when arthur first wrapped my arm up in a bow tie and ran through like i had i.b.s., i knew that this was THE dominant art. no wasted motion, all savage. thank you to people like you lee, for not selling this ancient style out.

  • I studied with Sifu Woo in El Monte, CA. I knew Bill Lassiter, Ted Sias. Your technique looks good. Nice work. Keep teaching to art and the INTENTION and MIND of the art. Great work!

  • Beautiful in every way.

  • Master lee's awsome

  • This guy's technique, polish and style is impeccable. He just moves so well and generates so much energy and power.

  • Grand Master Jimmy Woo would be proud.
