  • I am so curious how Jana is doing, I am in the Dallas area and I will be doing IVF in June this year. I am praying for her ......you are doing a great job, so proud of you.

  • I felt like I was watching exactly what I would say in a blog ab my p3 habits. It really sucks had I done it right the first time I would be healthy, at my goal, and done with hcg!! Feel better!! Crys can be great!!

  • Hey Joni! I watch y'all every day but don't get to comment immediately. Then when I have time to come back and comment, I can't remember what I wanted to say. That's a lot of stress you've been under lately. I can't imagine having a shooting near my kids school - although it's not uncommon in Memphis! Say hey to Janna. I wish I could drive down there and visit.

  • Bless your heart! Moms carry so many burdens, the safety of our children and our desire to always be there for so many and most of the time we neglect ourselves. One day at a time. Gods grace is sufficient. Nothing wrong with a good cry! <3

  • Thanks for opening up. I am so sorry about the situation at you daughter's school. How awful for your family. I am definitely praying for Jana, lots of baby vibes going her way.

  • cont'd..I'm glad that everything is okay at your daughters school now, that must have been horrible to go through. I too watched Jessi's vlog, and it really made me think about how much this protocol effects us psychologically. We are able to be more in-tune with our bodies and what we need, as well as figuring out past trauma's that could've affected the way we are today with our eating habits. I too need to order my copy of Apocalypse :/ Prayers for Jana !!

  • Joni, very good video! That release of stress (crying) can be very therapeutic. Sometimes in my case, I cry over things that are not related to me, but it just makes me feel great to get that out. For instance, I live in Oregon and it has been flooding really bad over here, the town next to mine, an 18 year old girl and her 20 month old baby drowned in the flooding, and I seen it on the news and just started bawling. It was good to get that out though, I wouldn't feel weird about it!...

  • Joni what a good video!!! I too need to work on P3, thanks for your honesty!!! A big releasing cry is always good, I tend to sleep really good after one!! I will continue to pray for Jana and sending you a big cyber hug!! Natalie

  • Interesting about the omelette in the morning! I've been doing like 1/2 cup egg beaters on a few days, so I might try adding it in every day to up my calories a bit. What do you think your number of calories you have every day is? I'm sorry you've been stressed out but I'm glad to know that you're feeling better :)

  • @MizRachelB Thanks so much...I'm feeling much better. I do add the egg beaters in the morning, cooked in coconut oil, red pepper and onions...I would guess that's a whopping 200ish calories added to my day with that oil. Other than that, I normally get an additional 500 calories with my fish and chicken, 2 fruits, and melbas. It has really helped..so maybe 700 calories! Whew..that's so much!

  • You are doing so good Joni! I know that sometimes when the emotions swell up like that it is just best to let them all go.... I know when I am done after a big cry it is sooooo freeing for me. I am praying that your life becomes less stressful and that Jana has great success in the baby department. HUGS

  • I think your light bulb just went off.... You have come such a long way.....Great JOB. I am going to do the Leptin Protocol for my P3 too. I think it is a great tool. From what I have researched so far. I have tons of Vlongs on My Favs. I have the book but have not had time read it. Aww.... hope the stress gets down for you. Thanks for the shout out.

  • Girl you got me all emotional love you give hug to you and Janna

  • I wish my hubby would eat what I cook- Im not a good p3er either-

  • Your doing great! It's ok to get emotional we all do praying that you don't have to go through so much stress hope you feel better Hugs!

  • Huge hugs and love.... Watched your blog today, and it's okay to get emotional... We've all been there. Thanks for sharing a little. How scary for your daughter!!!

  • Sorry you are having some rough times but glad you are doing better. A good cry is a good thing. Thank you for sharing. Prayers with you and Jana.

  • thank you for being so candid here, Joni! You have such a sweet spirit!

I believe you might have confused me with Charm on the egg yolk and whites. It's okay. I will take the credit anyways! lol I haven't read all the leptin books but have heard lots from everyone else including the lady who wrote the book. She has a youtube channel. I watched a 30 min. vlog of hers. (weightlossapocolypse is her youtube name).

Oh & proud of your weight loss & hubs!

Give my love to Jana. ♥

  • Please don't ever apologize for releasing emotions in your videos. It is OKAY! Thanks for sharing. I'm praying for Jana. Keep digging into your motives for eating beyond your body's need of food.

  • *HUGS* Glad that demon is out!

  • Lots of prayers and support being sent your way! You gals are fantastic role models. Thank you for sharing=)

  • Awwww. Big H U G S to you and Jana.

  • Wow in tears with you! Hugs and loves Joni!!

  • Big hugs! I think something is in the air or Hcg air, I've been having a very emotional week too. Glad so many are vlogging about life after Hcg. Hang in there...love ya! Love to Jana!

  • I think this was my favorite vlog to watch of you! I felt so "in tune" with you and related so much! I know you are fine and I even giggled a little at the ending, because I related to it a just LOVE YOU!! xo

  • thanks for the info, I so identify with you and I snack all of the time and am addicted to carbs I am going to start the Leptin diet asap thanks to you Good Luck

  • I've heard bits and pieces about leptin. I may have to check it out more. What got you to look into it? Sorry you have had a crazy week . . .

  • Oh Joni, hummm I feel your pain hun; had one of those cries this week myself. Cleansing. TOm is here by the way :) I highly recommend getting the book weight loss apocalypse. I'm 1/2 way in it and it has a totally new/different look on the P3/correction/maintaining aspect of this protocol that makes so much sense! Tell Jana hi and I'm thinking of her. Glad things are going well in P2 for you. Oh, I'm crying now Joni, hun, don't beat yourself up. I think so many are on healing the inside rightnow

  • I think even the strongest mother's get emotional over their childern especially when circumstances are beyond our control. And thanks for keep going without your bestie. It's hard to go solo sometimes.

  • You have done very well this round. Good luck to your bestie:)

  • Thanks for the updates! Yay to the down!! All the information on leptin is such a powerful tool! It is so tough to adjust the kids and their snacks!! Ugh! I am so working on my son controlling himself when he is away from me! Read the book! It was such a worthwhile investment in my time : ) Love those releasing cries!! What a weight can be lifted then! Let it out : ) Awww.. Thanks for the shout! I am watching you too! Keep up the good work!! Big Hugs!

  • You and the hubs are doing awesome! I'm looking forward to reading up on Mastering Leptin too... I need all the help and strategy I can get for P3 stabilization.... so I'm with ya there. I'm so sorry to hear about the stress lately but glad you got it out. Thanks for the shot out lady! JessiHCG's vlog hit me hard too... I don't have kids yet but I'm already trying to figure out how I will handle and talk about healthy eating with them. You're awesome! :)

  • I think the Leptin reset is a great plan for p3. When I did it for 2weeks before this round I felt awesome and no cravings. I could go a whole 5 hours without being hungry or even thinking about food! It was awesome!!!! Ur doing great!

  • Ah, Joni, it's really good to let out that emotion. I totally understand how it feels like such a release after. This is an emotional journey.

Also, I have 1 son. He turned 30 in December/11. Even after all these years, there are certain things, that I can't revisit without tears welling up. It's like I have no control over that. We always want things to be perfect for our kids and the truth of life is that they never quite are, but we do the best we can at the time and keep learning. :-)

  • Wooo isn't a good cry nice sometimes?! Makes you feel like a weight has been lifted, amazing feeling. Gosh your poor daughter and town, that is a very scary situation and that must just be really hard on you. Thanks for the shout out, and HEY right back to ya pretty girl <3 TOM makes me cry at commercials on TV, it's really quite odd lol.

  • Oh my gosh you and the hubs are doing REALLY well Joni!! I think the leptin reset thing is very interesting!!! My biggest thing isn't the switch in the my brain that tells me to stop eating, it's the fact that I don't feel truly "finished" until my plate is empty. So I've really learned to pre-portion my food and when it's a big plate of stuff just eat half and see how I feel, then take the rest to go haha!! Excited to see how the new program works for you guys!! Sending baby vibes to Jana <3

  • Awe, great vlog Joni! So sorry for your stresses this week. It's okay to cry...let it all out! Love ya and tell Jana I'm still praying for her.

  • Great volg Joni...you are doing so well!! I really do see and hear a difference in how you are approaching this whole hcg "Protocol". I do believe you can and will be successful in P3. I think the leptin thing can be the answer for many of us. It's great your husband is doing so well too. Sweetie...we all get emotional...crying is a great release...and Ok. You're in my prayers hon...Jana too.

    Love you!!

    Laurie

  • I always feel better after a good cry. Exorcism, is the word you were looking for and yes sometimes that's exactly what it feels like. Remembering that event with my step-mother really has opened my eyes about how much influence we have over our children! I'm sure it wasn't her intention to scar me for life but that's exactly what she did! Incredible. HUGS.
