probably never. as for the sq on these i tryed like 7 boxs before i got the one i liked best .these hit low and hard , fast and clean. they seemed best in a 2.00 cu. ft. slot ported box with a center divider

well... my opinion on these subs are they're nice for a high quality strong bass... i had 3 12" rockford T1's.. i just sold them and ordered 2 15" Fi BTL's.. (j have shit-tons of vids on my channel to prove my RF's) but.. i wouldnt spend this kind of money on a sub.. when i can buy the Fi's for less and have the BEST.. (dont respond that im on meade's dick, just cuz you cant afford them.. doesnt make me homo)

I run alpine type r's they don't suck but nah they'll never win in spl and nah they are the bassiest sub for the money but they good quality and durable plus they responsive if you get a major drum solo they take it like it's nothing. nice vid

your wrong... do i have to pull em out of the box and show you.......they are 1000 watt RMS....3000 watts PEAK. these are not the low end pioneer subs . they are not cheap. and trust me i owned just about every brand out there , and these are the best subs ive owned, they have GREAT spl, and nice SQ... dunno why morons cant figure this out.... do some damn research... pioneer was #1 in SPL 2007,2008. dont knock em till ya try em. because after u own 1 of these u wont knock em.

I'm not knocking them, I'm simply stating that ARE NOT 3000 watt subs, no one that is into car audio goes by peak power when talking about thier gear. the people that do that just want thier stuff to seem way better than it really is. the subs I'm running are rated @ 275rms and 1100 peak, does that mean they're 1100watt subs? no, it means they're 275 watt subs. and in what country were they #1 in spl in 07 08? I've never even seen a serious competitor use pioneer subs

fi is great.. but there prices suck. just like RE.... my buddy spent 2500$ on 2 12'' RE audio subs and my 300$ pair of pioneers was louder... funniest part bout it is his subs have been toasted #'s of times and ive never fried a premier. lmfao....

@DHFHades I agree. I dont know why you got thumbs down on these comments cuz they are true. And yes Pioneer did win competitions, and they were the first to break the 180db mark. But that was using a ridiculous amount of power and subwoofers, more than it should take to reach that. Peak power does have its place sometimes, but as for cheap subwoofers like the Xplods, their peak power is meaningless cuz they would never take over 1000watts even for an instant without blowing.

my permier spl sub blew on me of 1000wrms so i got the 12" mmats dreadnaut and im giveing it 1600 wrms allday lond and it dose heat up bit but it didn't melt the cone off like my permier spl on a 1000wrms they are awsome but outta all the sub's iv been through the permier spl was the only one to blow on my..!!and they won with TS-W5102SPL not this one u got ther!!! get two more to get to the 155 db'z

you shouldn't be running the subs at max rms unless you are at a comp. , you should be running your sub at about 75% of there rms to have a good lasting system. them dread's are sick ! i know they used the 5000's lol!

@mazda2284 Thats not true at all. Although it depends on the quality of the subwoofer. The rms is usually referred to as the "thermal power handling". If the motor and coil are vented well like the Premier SPLs were, then you should be able to run its RMS all day long. And like I stated before, I ran my Premier at 1200wrms daily and it ran fine.

lets see for starters my subs are dual 2 ohm so they either wire 1 or 4 ohm ea. most class D amps are rated for 2 ohm loads....or u can buy 1 that says it will handle 1 ohm and watch it fry in no time... anyhow.. so i wire my subs 4 ohm my amp will put out a solid true 850 rms bridged @ 4 ohms ez if not more.but i nedd 2 amps to run both subs that way and i just need to get the second amp 1 of these days rite now there running off the same amp wired in stereo 4ohm each so thats about 275 rms .
