Corps Style Excellence. Coming from the West Rusk Raider Band in New London, Texas, Our director uses your band as a reference tool to improve our own show. Quote: "What separates your average band from the Queen City Band? Sustaining the long notes in the music, and genuine style. That's how you sound like a mature band, not a middle school band." Lol it gets pretty old after a while. But you guys definitely are the standard for musical perfection in marching. Great sound; great show.

I'm from Taft Texas and We marched there that day. Everyone says it was our best show we've marched and it was. I don't see how the judges had us last. I know we're not the best but there were bands worse then us!

Damn college judges suck!

Queen city ur awesome, but idk this really wasnt ur best show . when we saw yall live yall kept loseing the beat but as well as yall r trained yall got back n step. Yall can play the heck out of the music but yalls marching didnt quite line up with it tho. I'm still a BIG FAN from Redwater.

Great job guys congrats from anahuac...we got 4th because in the finals the aux. marching judge gave us 20/100 because we didnt have a colorgaurd and ut states that you do not have to have a colorgaurd it made us mad but we are happy with what we got ...CONGRATULATIONS Q.C!!

Hey Melt. I am pretty sure they were just commenting on the judges scores. Not being disrespectful of the other bands. They were all great. There were some antagonizing posts on other sites that probably led to the "talk smack now" reference. I am sure that it was not intended to be a nasty post.

Complete sweep? They were hardly there alone. That's pretty disrespectful of all the other schools that worked hard and were there too. They are good, but that's a NASTY comment. I was there and many of the other bands were very good also.
