SHe was purposely pushing peyton back toward her dysfunctional relationship with Nathan so she could have a shot at Lucas. When she dares Peyton to kiss Lucas it is because she knew already that she didnt have a chance and she went after him anyway... but Peyton is not a saint either. #imjustsaying

I do watch the show, and it has been Peyton and Lucas from the start. Sure, Brooke and Lucas dated, i'm not going to deny that they never had something...but what Peyton and Lucas had was much deeper. And btw, they are getting married not just because Mark wants a happy ending, but because they are meant to be together. Brooke said it many times herself in the show. I never got why so many people were mad, when she told Brooke that she's in love with L. again.
