This is why over here in Oz I buy Halogen and keep an eye on switching to LED. I refuse to live in a house that uses those Fluorescent Death Bulbs, and converted my immediate family over to this point of view through the sheer evidence - then when sleepwalkers in my extended family tried to make fun of it I told them in no uncertain terms this is our home and I will not see my loved ones exposed to all the horrid effects of fluorescent lighting

Funny, I never really worried about the ban in the first place. I didn't fall for this Marketing Ploy anyway so I hadn't changed the way I shop for light bulbs. Too worried about what I can still chose to eat and not be poisoned by it!

they probably just figured out a way to make the incandescent bulbs emit a mind-control frequency or give us cancer or whatever their point was in banning them in the first place. i cant remember what i decided the point truly was. there is waaayyyyy too much going on right now for us all to be able to follow with clarity. just gotta shut down this group that keeps making these decisions for us that cause all this confusion & pain. shut 'em down! glad i can still get my crappy 25c bulbs, though.

Florescent Lights are bad for sure, but we have LED lights which combine the efficiency of fluorescents and the quality of the regular bulbs...

Regardless, I love the incandescents, but I am switching to LEDs

The proposed ban was absolutely ridiculous. Oh well, guess I stock piled a bunch of bulbs for nothing. Hopefully they will act as an inflation hedge...LOL
