  • guys how do know you have hit the water?

  • Well.. It is pretty innovative making "Home Made drilling rig " . It does have potential to rise ! Good Luck... !

  • There is a brand new political party designed to bring sanity back to AMERICAN LIFE IN THE ORIGINAL AMERICAN WAYS. It is called Conservative Party USA. Check it out and join us!

  • WHEN I was 11 I had my own drilling rig and a job. Folks there are real folks out in the country that can do just about anything. No I am not 100 yrs old just 50...but I am glad I was born when and where I was!

  • do you sell the plans and a parts list for your water well rig. I would like to know where you get all the parts. Before long we will all need a well in the back yard, because of all the stuff the government wants to put in the water to keep us healthy. I would rather drill my own well and maybe know what is in it. Great job on your rig.

  • Very impressive machine, smart operator.

  • no iron roughneck your joking !!

  • Nice Rig BTW, oh Hezco1, you know at 12 to 14 a lot of us farm boys were driving loaded grain trucks, just because you were not a responsible kid don't mean the one running the rig was like you.

  • Unclebob, How can I contact you? Please email me t.morrison at eastlink.ca

  • fishingthewatershed ... yes, it sounds like Amerika to me. I often ask people "how did we get to this place?" We have done it to ourselves!

  • Now where do I find the schematics for this?

  • im an underground diamond driller by trade i have to say thats a pretty cool rig..good job..

  • COOL!~ As I was an old roughneck! Been on a well that was 24,900 ft deep!~

  • at that depth does the water get hot?? please help me out 24000 is almost 5 miles and thats sooo awesome! does heat develope at that depth??

  • Heat can develope at any depth, All depends on the upthrust of sedimentery sands below the warths crust. I have seen salt water up to150 degrees at 1,000 to5,000 and 250 at 10,000 to 18,000 The well Bighorn 3-36 was 250 degrees . Also there is cold zones as well.

We encountered HP Gas kicks which turned in to a blow out Nobody got hurt.

  • wow!!! thanks alot! i really respect that! very interesting!! wow!

  • @boxa888 im just guessin that rig cant drill 24000 ft deep. not to menttion at that depth you would be lookin at oil and gas

  • This rig is not ment to go down 24,000ft. It is simply for drilling for a well not for oil or natural gas.

  • @boxa888

water gets hot at far shallower temperatures, and it all depends where your drilling, some places you specifically do "hot rock drilling" its a good re-newable energy, but mostly where i'v been, for example, where I am now, in the south estern end of australia, at 700 metres the returning mud is often upto 45celcius, when ur not running mud and only water it returns at around 30-35 celcius.

  • people are just jeolous that they cant man a rig rig like this kid

  • Nice! Good job kid>Its great when people give youth a chance to do things that they are interested in.

  • Gotta love the City Slickers. They don't know crap about living in the country or raising produce/livestock etc. They all want to follow regulations because they think it's great for them. Good luck on your well!

  • Amen!

  • I live in Yakima wa. and I wanted to start a small business drilling shallow wells for use with the old hand pumps. I went to the dept. of Ecology and was told that to drill a 20 foot deep hole for a 4 inch plastic casing I would need 8000 (eight thousand) hours of experiece to get a liscense. I would have to work for someone else for at least several years before I could suck water out of a twenty foot deep pipe. Welcome to fascist Amerika. Does this seem like a free country to you?

  • unbeleivable ! but don't worry wer'e making free countries in the middle east . seems like every occuation has a lobby now days

  • @fishingthewatershed So it would be okay if those 8,000 hours were working at a fucked up company with an idiot in charge and you had an accident every week, no doubt. Our gov't hard at work! Well in their defense some regulation IS good but it often is not well thought through, and seems more oriented toward the bureaucerats that make it than safety or the men doing the job.

  • @fishingthewatershed We had the same problem, just do it outlaw style. We make a small fortune doing it on the side... on a all cash basis. Word of mouth is the best advertising anyway.

  • @fishingthewatershed i was told i only needed 500 hours of experience and that all i needed was a city inspector to be present at the time of the drilling to record how many hours i had.

  • @fishingthewatershed and besides i wouldnt want some unlicensed guy to come to my house and put a well in and when something goes wrong hes no where to be found.you need a license for a reason and thats to protect yourself and your clients.if you dont like it move you russia im sure youll be real free there

  • @fishingthewatershed Seems like Obamanation to me, freedom comes with votes on Nov 2nd

  • @belize91 don't worry, votes haven't been counted for decades

  • @fishingthewatershed How else are they going to keep the competition down? We can't have every one drilling their own wells as their is no taxes levied unless money changes hands.

  • @fishingthewatershed

free country is just something sheeple repeat to themselves

  • @lespaul49 uh huh.....and it is scary too.

  • @fishingthewatershed Kansas used to be that way, you had to have an apprentise deally almost but we finally got rid of that and now if you take a common sense test on sanitary and state codes, are sober enough to write the state a small check for your lic fee, your good to go. If your drilling for yourself on your property you don't even need the lic, just drill to code.

  • @fishingthewatershed In my state all you have to do is pay the fee to get the license... I learned how to run a drill rig on my own.

  • @fishingthewatershed we're feeling pissed off with the same bullshit all over the world brother.

The revolution is coming. First we've got to stop these crooked bankers.

  • s@jonnyzz139 the revolution will not come because they will turn the economy back on first. then it will grow then they will crash it and buy up the good stuff cheap. use the money for war to gain more markets and start all over. we are divided and therfore easily steered. We must unite and vote each issuue in group.

  • @fishingthewatershed i have a solution to our political probblem.2nd law of thremodynamics states that all connected bodies reach an equilibrum. So a two party system means two parties of equal size. So a litlle power on one side or the other can sway the whole thing. The nice cop democrats grow the economy, the bad cop republicans, fight wars, gain teritory cause recesions and then buy up the best companies and assets cheap. Their in cahoots with each other and were playing keep away.

  • Respond to this video... i dont take sides i think there just playing us back and forth dividing us up so it takes little to steer the nation through a grow and harvest cycle. the solution is for all groups that want change to merge into one party and vote in-group on individual issues. We all agree on important thingslike campaign finance reform. Cynical people say it cant be done or it looks good on paper then they go bankrupt and someone innovates and then it oh lets do that.

  • @fishingthewatershed Next time use Google ( in WA state Trainee is 600 Hours + $25 fee) Than you need an additional 3600 Hours + $ 25 fee to be fully licensed.

so worst case you need 4200 Hours to become a fully licensed .

Also there is many short cut ..for example if you are licensed in another state you can get your licence in WA so just find the cheapest and easiest state.

Also the requested hours are log hours not experience.

  • ok? that is small! uhmm how in the world did u do make that? and how could u trust an 11 year old running it? what inch pipe u use?

  • "and how could u trust an 11 year old running it?"

With all due respect that is a silly question and you are obviously from the city. Out in the country everyone contributes to the process and it is a training, not an age issue. There are 40 year old friends and family I wouldn't trust to run that piece of equipment and an 11 year old has the ability to handle a lot more than people give them credit for.

  • @oevzA1oL

obviously you are from the country

son, we drink poisonous chlorinated water for breakfast

    what do u expect?

  • @realcampusman You forgot about poisonous Fluoridated water also!

  • @astrialkil its better for your teeth than processed sugar...the #1 reason for cavities

    eat fruit, drink real water

forget about diets and eat good food every time

  • I was the one who was running it. I have been around it since it was built and knew how to use it. People do not trust kids in this society. I am very mature. Now i am 14 though. I still was mature back then. I hope that you can learn to trust kids and teenagers more.
