I played this game when I was like 10, 6 years ago, I was one of the first people playing CoV. This game looks waaaaaaaaay different and better. Is it still a mega bitch to lvl? Cause I remember it being soooooooo boring at times cause lvling was just freakin aweful.

Electric/Kinetics I toyed with for a while (although not at high levels) and found it a very nice coupling.

I'm pretty sure /Cold has a nice power that enables you to take a fair bit more damage too while it's running.

They are adding Archery and Trick Arrow to the Corruptor AT in Issue 16 too.

you dont really have any bursts of damage like you can get from Fire/ or Ice/ sry but if you would have went with one of those primaries you would've been able to take down that controller alot faster then what you did.

The appeal of Dark isn't in the burst damage. You should take some notes.

heh the -tohit does jack too. Unless all you do is arena. You wouldnt last long in Zones. unless you play on an unpopulated server. and Taking notes on a Dark/Cold corr...no thanks. And yeah PvP is alot about bursts of damage. If anything you should take notes.

Haha says the zone scrub. At least im going to assume your a zone scrub from your comments and your awesome zone pvp vids. A dark/cold isn't supposed to be used in a zone...period. Its strictly for 1v1s in Arena. Go 1v1 a really good dark/cold in the arena (if there are any left)

Strictly 1v1? I zone pvp w/ mine and do alright, not the greatest damage, but it gets me there. It's pretty damn fun too, I have more fun on my dark/cold in zone rather than my fire/em. Its a bit more thrilling.

You proved me wrong, sry about that comment, i was thinking that the only builds that can PvP are FoTM builds, but im out of that phase now. I was still trying to understand PvP tactics, seeing this video and seeing you as dark assualt made me think that would suck because no burst damage, but like you said its not about that. and Dark/Cold is just an ultimate Slower/-To hit/debuffer there is in this game. Currently working on a Rad/Cold defender. So wanted to say i admit that i was wrong.

Dark Blast is taken for Life Drain. Saves you one extra pool you can use for something else.
