  • okay, at first i was thinking... cool but normal, then the bread and BOOM then he hit ud with his British accent. ROWKER kool

totally nailed the funnyness of that accent, so to speak - so to speak. prettttttty cool

Da thumbz is up, as the kids say.

  • thanks Neal this really helped me alot! i was always having problems that my strap always loosens. but im a bassist but it also helped me to become a lead guitarist :D

  • whats the key of A?

  • Very good, but inaccurate in explaining why the notes are referred to as the IV and V.. You don't simply count the alphabet they are scale degrees.

  • best guitar lessons on youtube!

  • @coal1987 Why, thank you very much!! :)) -Neal

  • how do u making barre with 2 fingers ? I am always touching the smallest one MI (E) string, what should I do? I was using 4 fingers (1 for each string before I saw ya video) Thanky

  • Great Tip!!

  • tip o' the week, that was cheap and ingenious ! Look out Schallers !

  • @topher8096 I like cheap and ingenious

  • @Guitartricks LOL wen u said pull out a loaf of bread i thot u were gonna rip off a piece and stick it on the end of your guitar strap holder

  • i dont like how you explain the progression. following the alphabet would be "right" in this particular example, but if you take it to any other key, the 1 4 5 progression changes depending on the root. you should have explained it all the way with the major scale. if you dont go too much into depth, you can explain it properly within 1 more minute. not trying to bash you here, really, just some constructive criticism. anyway, cheers man!

  • I always warm up with that I-IV-V in A with the punk beat! I believe it is the most common scale pattern in western music.

  • Was that meant to be an English accent? =l

  • @FlamingIceCubez LOL If it was it was bad.

  • @lifestraight it was meant to be a bad english accent indeed. I don't profess to be an impersonator of any sorts.

    Neal

  • @Guitartricks No problem mate. I was just responding to a comment. Cheers!!

  • i was wondering if you could help me with the 4, i cant seem to identify it despite going over the video over and over again. great video by the way

  • Thanks Christopher, you would know!

  • @Guitartricks sir can you use the same technique if you change Amaj to A7? and do the L shape and go on with D7 and E7? thank you..... -big sarge

  • Hi Big Sarge, yes you can and that's probably a more popular chord choice for this pattern too!

    Thanks for watching,

    Neal

  • Sorry Neal, but I feel I speak for all British guys from the UK here that your attempt at a British accent "Yeah I'm a Rocker" towards the end of the vid was about the lamest attempt I've ever heard.

Great guitar playing though man !

    :-)

  • Well you can't have it all, my friend !!

    Neal
