An SA-2 launcher holds 6 rockets, and only fires 1 at at time, with a 5-6 second delay between missiles. It can only track one target at a time, and can only guide 3 missiles at a time, though it can terminate guidance to a missile in order to launch another. The explosion and flight path need some work, and the sound should be more of a scream (and the booster should drop after a few seconds). Otherwise, this is a good start.
Very nice, but you could add a couple tweaks. Yeah, like the guy says, the booster only stays on for a few seconds with lots of smoke. Also, SA-2 flies a pronounced zig-zag corkscrew kind of pattern to the target.
@gmanflyairforce3 One target tracked at a time sounds about right. I've given the mesh to someone who will release this as scenery/effect for FSX with an accurate launch sequence.
The missiles should ripple, with 4-6 seconds between launches at the same target.
Firing three is correct for engaging a single manoeuvring targets.
Attacking a second target requires a second complete engagement and can only be initiated after the first engagement is complete, requiring acquisition, tracking and missile preparation before the new target can be taken under fire.

@greendaylover12345 That sounds about right. I'll pass that on to the fella I gave the file to.

@greendaylover12345 An SA-2 has a single rail launcher. It has the ability to control 3 launchers with a firing order of 6 seconds apart.

@hammeredinfire Indeed, it could do with lots more smoke at launch. I will pass that on to the guy who is doing the effects.

Nope. You are thinking of the Atoll.

I'm pretty sure you can only track one target per fan song radar

@TheNovum I sent the gmax file to someone last week who is going to build it into an effect/scenery object.

The booster stage should come off approx 5-10 sec after launch.
