i was 12 or 13 when this came out, my dad rented it at this local video-tape store (way before Blockbuster became a major franchise, back in the day, they were exclusive stores, like record shops) and us kids couldnt wait for the singing part to come up, this was the part they used in the trailer to get people to go see it, LOL!!!

This is the coolest part of the movie. I like the music. The puppets are cheesy looking, but there's a LOT of them- many interesting varieties. It was a neat concept imperfectly executed. Juia Louis Dreyfus as a Fetching Forest Nymph! A singing mushroom! Ha ha!

Yea really this film is underrated. people wont give it a chance (they were problably too busy watching tron which was nediocre and was only good for its effects as they say). I myself love this film it has a sort of mix between action, horror, and there are a few comedic ties in there.
