When we could with hold food from them, we only fed them in the chair. They would come out of the cage and sit in the chair all by themselves. Because the assholes said we couldn't do that, we had to use a neck snare to catch them. I actually liked banging them on the floor a few times.
In my lab now, I feed them only in the restraint. They come out and put it on all by themselves. It saves a lot of time and effort, and they aren't pumped full of adrenalin.

Monkeys do not experience "love" "hate" "fear" etc. They are not capable of it.They run on reaction and instinct. I have seen a mama baboon throw her infant at a predator to save herself. When a new leader of a troop takes over, he kills all the babies so the females will go into heat and mate with him. Don't put human traits on them, it doesn't work.

When we could with hold food from them, we only fed them in the chair. They would come out of the cage and sit in the chair all by themselves. Because the assholes said we couldn't do that, we had to use a neck snare to catch them. I actually liked banging them on the floor a few times.
In my lab now, I feed them only in the restraint. They come out and put it on all by themselves. It saves a lot of time and effort, and they aren't pumped full of adrenalin.

Why does PETA use old footage and cut over 100 hrs of video down to a few minutes? I have to ask how the narrator would catch a monkey? Rectal prolaps can occur naturally, if the female is in heat. First they don't want the monkeys alone, then they don't want them together. The monkeys circling the cage and pacing are not insane, just agitated. They settle down in a few minutes. Monkey are self-destructive in the wild, they are not "mad"

Where I live I own about 566 monkeys at last count, and 5 baboon troops at this time I have 45 brain dammaged baboons, and 74 brain dammaged monkeys. I have 7 pregnant females addicted to heroin. I want to see how they react when the babies are born.

Really, the scientists were check out the results of (long term affects of tabacco let's take for example) if the monkey has no arms, legs, and is half dead on chloroform.

Monkeys do not experience "love" "hate" "fear" etc. They are not capable of it.They run on reaction and instinct. I have seen a mama baboon throw her infant at a predator to save herself. When a new leader of a troop takes over, he kills all the babies so the females will go into heat and mate with him. Don't put human traits on them, it doesn't work.
