Thanks for putting this together. The volume is really low though. I had the volume all the way up on the computer and in YouTube but could not make out enough for this video to be helpful.
Add each file to the timeline, do your editing for each file then produce your video to a format of your choice. Make sure your files are located on the hard drive, not on a disc or USB drive. Power Director doesn't actually alter your files, basically these are just commands to produce your results.
bro how can you fix it when there is this message pops up "a front-end graph streaming error accured" n plus when i just ignor it n save my movie,half of the movie the valuem is missing???
@davepjcx when i dragged the video into the timeline half of the video doesnt have that blue markings which represent the voice.(it appears on the same track as the video on the timeline). i think thats why
@islam6429 What happens when you use the test video clip that came with Power Director? Sounds to me like you clip maybe corrupt, just guessing. What format is the clip?

I am new to video editing and have a question.
I have a pile of DV files, each file has multiple segments. How to I trim each individual segment out and save it to an individual file?

Produce the trimmed clip to an output format of your choice, the you can import that clip back into PD8.

What version do you have? I am using 8.00.3022. Try looking in the user forums at Cyberlink to see if someone else has the same problem.

@davepjcx i didn't buy it but dowloaded from a friend's computer. n i dont know what format my video is.
