  • Very nice. Tull's my favorite, I'll take anything you send our way (One white duck on your wall, on your nice J-200)

  • acoustic part of "Thick as a Brick" or "A Song For Jeffrey" ;D

  • Saw Tull at The Albert Hall in 1971 or 2 doing "Thick as a brick" - just brilliant.

  • Tony Iomi gave Tull a great sound back in their infancy

  • @jjhtr I think the Stones' R&R Circus was about the only thing Iommi did with Tull. He was only in the band for a couple of weeks.

  • Happy New Year to you and your family. Always enjoy your performances and lessons. Keep up the good work in 2012.

  • More Tull!!

  • Man ... You are just crankin' these out! Thank You Sir!!!!

Do you have any idea HOW VERY MUCH I(we)ve learned thanks to your efforts?

You've been a good boy! Santa should be very Happy w/U according to my son!

  • Always diverse, never expected to learn old Tull. I currently have Benefit in the car. Thanks again.

By the way, about the apparent gold record on your wall. . .

  • PT, thanks man. Jethro Tull was the very first concert I attended, at the tender age of 12, at Cobo Hall in Detroit in 1970. As a father of three daughters now, I can't believe my parents let me go! Again, thanks for all the videos you post. I've probably learned to play 20 songs from just watching you. Our musical tastes are actually very similar, at least based on the songs you post. I would request more Faces and Iggy songs, please.

  • You can find clips of Tull playing this for French TV where Ian Anderson is playing electric guitar for a change. It's kind of fun seeing him and Martin Barre doing the harmony bits.

Despite its popularity Tull never plays this one live, apart from some of the instrumental section. Anderson just doesn't like the song much.

  • Ain't that Ian Anderson amazing ? Saw him first in 1970 I.O.W. festival

  • Good stuff....how bout "New Day Yesterday"?

  • Love your videos , thankyou. By the way love the YES videos you like im 23 and was raised on YES since I came home from the hospital seen them about 25 times would love to see a cover of them by you, I know some bits and parts but Steve is tough best (ALL AROUND)guitar player in my opinion thanks for uploading.

  • hey, how long did it take you before you could play by ear? also videos btw, your an amazing player.

  • Terrific! Thank you for covering Tull. More, please.

  • C'mon PR...give us some The Guess Who - American Woman...please.

  • A unique band from a creative period. Would love to believe that there are bar bands out there that would cover this or anything else from Stand Up/Benefit.
