  • I'm becoming a huge fan of Joe. This song and Ballad of John Henry are mindblowing

  • Best Wishes from Poland, Joe! Great music.

  • im wet

  • Joe killing it!

  • fake!

  • Timbrão de guitarra... "you better stop, baby"!

  • The tone of his guitar is just too good

  • API LUNCHBOX and an SM7B. Nice!

  • @skeletalwreck Gibson Lucile 335 BB king // Set paiste 2002 // Gibson Joe Bonamassa //

  • kevin shirley !

  • Joe is the best. always loved Stevie Ray but Joe is the man now

  • This guy burns! I just found out about him.

  • lol phil kessel with a guitar

  • Awesome song, almost had me weeping during the second solo and at the vocal breakdown

  • joe's playing has aged like a fine wine and with a great vocal ability to match..how can one person have so much god given talent amazing..i'm so glad he has gotten thru the shred era early in his life , now he can take his sweet time and bring the listener on a journey..its like when he was young he played every one of his idols -style and now he has his own, if you listen carefully he leaves tiny trails of his fav players..

  • Fuck,this guy is a genius.

  • PLEASE DONT STOP)))

  • Yea.. They're all great - but this is actually, in my opinion, a sorry attempt at the blues... I'm a guitarist... I love messing around in the privacy of my own home, playing the blues. Some people, i.e., young, white, guitar virtuoso's, really have no business trying to express something they have never really lived or experienced: The Blues. It comes off as... insincere.

  • @aleisterktk So to have the right to play or attempt this style of music, you must be old, non-white, and inept at guitar playing? It's music. Get off your high horse and open your mind. It's one thing to not like the artist, it's another to say that he should not be playing because he has not met your personal standards of emotion requisite for this style. For that matter, how do you know what this man has gone through and felt in his life? How old was BB King when he began playing the blues?

  • @aleisterktk It is a ballad with bluesy solos. Joe isn't old and he is not black so I guess he can't choose to play the blues in your opinion. I have seen the guy live and he has brought me to tears and given me goosebumps in the same song. He takes his listeners on a roller coaster ride of emotion. That is what music is all about Blues, Rock, Classical, Jazz. He can play anything he wants thank god he chooses to play the blues on occasion.

  • @aleisterktk alright ass hole, u can't even put a cap on what the blues is or who plays it, a 11 year old asian can play the blues good,... P.S srry for the 11 year old asians not hatin on ya , just tryin to make a point

  • @aleisterktk Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, BB King was this kids mentor, what's your problem? if I thought like you nothing that has been produced in the last 8 decades is original, it's all an imitation of something else with a slight twist.

  • @aleisterktk Ok wow... slow down and take a step back. You really have to be black to understand?? The whole point of music is that you are taken in by it's properties. You think Blues music is a limited genre and only certain people can use it? That's like saying white people can't learn buddhism because they haven't been brought up on it. To come to a conclusion, you seek in this life. That's what it's all about. The more people keeping this music alive, the better. K1RKYD

  • @aleisterktk Yup that's a opinion. Not a very well thought out opinion. That is a fact.

  • @aleisterktk thanks for your opinion, faggit.

  • Pollos Hermanos on the bass guitar....

  • Joe Bonamassa is one of the most talented young musicians out there. Love your music, Joe!

  • I put up the question about the slide tuning. I was on another vid and this popped up. sorry folks. Now I can't find it.

  • nice ..still got the blues ..

  • This (the rythm figure) make me think of this song : .../watch?v=fZPLuGYFYkk

  • If you like it that is good if you don't that is fine too.

  • Stop!!! Super Stop!

  • Wonderful guitar player and singer, still got the blues...

  • Funny...im watchin , and listenin to this man pour out some real soul juice here...while pencil necks argue over who is BETTER? Hilarious....music is for the soul, and when ya let your head rip it apart...well its like everything else...your best thinking is not as good as a strong feeling from your heart....just chill and soak it up yall...its liquid velvet elixir...its for the soul...not your tormented brain...and yes I play....from the soul.

  • Stop!

  • top da balada

  • Bee's Knees. British for top notch. English for bloody well done.

  • .. My eyes are still O.O and my mouth are still Ö..

  • youtube must be broken again. my veiws are the only ones showing up. CANT GET OVER THIS SONG!

  • Wow... what a good and unique voice! First time i have heard this guy. - Instant fan!!

  • Beautiful, produced with meticulous care, performed with emotion. I feel like I arrived late to the party, but I'm sure glad I came!

  • Anyone who does not feel impressed by Joe Bonamassa really does not have a highly developed perception of guitar playing or has influences/tastes that sit too far away stylistically from Joe's music, making it difficult for them to appreciate what he does at a proper dimension. This guy is huge!

  • @Pupyification Agreeification.

  • To the guy who's not impressed. Check out Joe's Live at Rockpalast videos as a starting place. He's far from a one-trick-poney. If you go through that concert and you're not impressed, you simply have far different tastes than many of us. Or check out some of his earlier albums. It's not just one song, it's a multitude of songs.

  • JB - You best.

  • I'm sorry but I'm not NOT IMPRESSED with this guy. He can play, but just nothing particularly original about his sound or his chops.

  • @NYTNinAmerica I hope you based your view on more than simply watching this one video (in particular a cover version of a song). Go watch some of his original material and live performances. I personally find Bonamassa one of the most exciting and talented guitarists alive today.

  • @NYTNinAmerica well bb king, eric clapton and practicaly every blues guitarist seemed to be pretty impressed with joe so id let the proffesionals be the judge of that so you can you just SHUT THE FUCK UP. and if you dont like him dont watch why the fuck would even be here, there is always one IDIOT

  • @epiphonelespaul4, I'll give you a pass on your ignorance here, because I respond with the same "fervor" when I tell people that ALLAN HOLDSWORTH is greatest guitarist alive. People who claim to know so much about guitar playing (like you) often reply, "Who's Allan Holdsworth?"

Like I said -- not impressed. As far as "white boys" are concerned, I'm way more impressed with guys like SCOTT HENDERSON, DEREK TRUCKS and JIMMY HERRING (Jimmy would eat this guy alive).

  • @NYTNinAmerica is this the only video you have seen of joe or something he's got way more than this go check them out cause he is actully that good. jimmy herring is pretty good derek trucks one of my favorite guitarist but i still love joe bonmassa more he's got something that i dont see in a lot of guitarist, but anyway we shouldnt even be comparing and guitarist there all different they all have different technics.

  • @NYTNinAmerica Totally agree after much arguments with his fans,Clapton, Green and Taylor play better blues, pentatonic scales sound so average,I stated that ,John McLaughlin and Holdsworth play their style,Alan especially does not fit into any genre nor jazz, nor,Rock, nor blues, since Soft Machine days he was different, and complexed I even argued that Scott Henderson and Gary Hoey sound better than this pretender.

  • @epiphonelespaul4 Fuck you man not in the same league as Peter Green or even Leslie West this guy is a pretender,no classic albums,Clapton learnt from records and the ear and in his youth shits on little Joey,I am another fuckin idiot telling a fuckwit nurd like you this guy is a pretender not a contender ,Allan Holdsworth and John McLaughlin are currently the greatest white guitar players and nothing original here son,so you better shut the fuck up

  • @Cyzzroxx man go fuck your self you dont even know me and you call me a nerd your just a fucking idiot then. you dont get to play with bb knig at the age of 12 for nothing. OH that must mean bb king's shit then. and how could you put down joe its hard to find white blues player these days thats keeping the blues alive, so music is going to get fucking no where your going to let pop music win because your not supporting good musicians your putting them down for no fucking reason.

  • @epiphonelespaul4 If it was not for Clapton and Green we would not listen to tinny BB Queen,I am fet up up with people playing the same way and format, fuckwits like you do nothing to changing the industry and Joe is only reinventing the wheel.Guess what I am twelve you hero and I am sick of this blues crap that has been overplayed at least Hendrix sounded different and he had a foot in the past and a foot in future you nerds have no idea and i am glad my father taught me well you hero.

  • @Cyzzroxx okay WHAT THE FUCK i love jimi hendrix but bb king was before jimi hendrix so fuck you, you stupid cunt im 13 and i listen to blues and rock all the time it is fucking rare to find kids our age listen to music like the blues so why would you put any sort of blues musician down that try's to play good music its like any sort of blues or rock and roll band or what ever that comes out now has to be shit cause they are new WTF your stupid dont need more gas station attendance

  • @epiphonelespaul4 Please don't stoop to this person's level. He's just trying to piss people off. Joe Bonamassa is the new king of not just the blues, but guitar!.

  • @Cyzzroxx "Arguing on the internet is like running at the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded." And making threats, really? What a tough guy. Your comments make you sound like your 12.

  • 1 million views on a Bonamassa vid???? YESSSSS!!!!

  • I absolutely love this song and the band!! hope to see them live some time. I wish people could appreciate jazz, the blues and classic rock a little more. His singing and their music are a wonderfully performed.

  • the best........

  • this is fantastic. I've got to start listening to this style more.

  • the best

  • oh god this reminds me so much of Gary Moore..

  • @MetronomeISR so true he's even playing a lucille copy

  • @MetronomeISR with bb's sig guitar Lucille!

  • 65 people thought that "stop!" means to stop the video

  • Not a huge fan of this guitarist but this rendition is nice thanks for posting! I do however recognize his talent!

  • still got the blues rip off

  • @1919dpg Everybody borrows from everybody else. Gary Moore (may he RIP) is one of my heroes. But he didn't invent the blues. He took from Albert King, Peter Green, Hendrix, Clapton, The Beatles, etc... Gary Moore is looking down from Heaven and smiling at what Joe is doing. He's now carrying the torch.

  • WOW!!

  • I love this band,

  • I'm with ROO2294 haha! I could watch and play the flute to this a million times. One golden pod. :~D

  • This has got to be one of my absolute favorites from Joe B. The brass just tops it off.

For everyone that has ever been in that situation Joe just sings the pain.

  • I am 62 and I am trying to learn guitar. So far so good. Being a sax player helps with rhythm and jazz

  • @monktrane325 Good Luck! I have been learning for 20 years, (I still suck!!) and it is a fun, and never ending process. Never give up!!!

  • @monktrane325 Good for you buddy hang in there...you have a big head start with all your knowledge of jazz...I switched from cello to guitar at age 15 and never looked back:)

  • 1.416,000 of the view are from me =)

  • Huge bb king influence :)

  • JB is God!!!!

  • WELL FUCK i think thats the greatest thing ive ever heard the bar has been raised once again yup mmhm!!

  • 19 and loving joe bonamassa!! <3 brings me chills and even though its tmi.. somesongs make me moan... and his song just did that... IDK WHY THOUGH!! worst part is, im in a public library

  • the Flash!

  • Amazing guitar player, not just a great blues guitar player, but adds that extra feeling and technique into each song.

  • I can't say enough how great all the band is! The drummer's hi-hat sound is fantastic!

  • Awesome.

  • The original song is kind of funny after you listen to this one...

  • The best

  • @ZeppelinFan6980 shoulda gone to the party, said "i forgot something in my car" then gone to see Joe. if your gf really loved you she wouldn't make you miss such a momentous event. and if she knew you had the tix and still made you go to a party then she has no soul. the only thing better than seeing Joe live is seeing Black Country Communion

  • @leesvideopage Lol I didn't tell her about it. She would have made me go but I didn't want to put that on her, it wasn't her fault. Alas, next time he comes within a two hundred mile radius of me, I don't care if I have to sneak in to see him. Lol this thanksgiving one of my cousins came up and said "You like that Joe Bonamassa guy, right? Yeah my pop is at his concert right now." I almost killed myself.

  • So Joe came to Savannah, Georgia the other day and my parents surprised me with tickets to go see him. I freaked out, but I had already PROMISED my girlfriend to be at a party for her....I went to the party because I knew it was the right thing to do, but my God....

I deserve some serious love for that.

  • @ZeppelinFan6980 you missed the best experience of your life.. i saw him a couple of weeks ago.. and nothing compares to see live seriously

  • Not sure if he's a better guitarist or a better singer...guess it don't matter as long as he keeps making music.

  • my metal music is so good, that for example, in neo-classical progressive metal, at 15 notes a second without a single mistake , I almost lose consciousness because it is SO good, that it is better than sex. the most hommo-erectus question as: Does it can get any better than Joe Banana? well, If you took the time to close your TV and Radio, and see that there is 500,000 bands of extreme metal, you would go suicide because you will consider yourself too much innocent

  • The bizzness, absolutely amazing. Thanks for posting

  • Here's something that needs to stop: Joe Bonamassa making those faces when he plays a solo.

  • @Kals33 don't be slave to the video, it's about the music.

  • The last two minutes is REALLY NICE!

  • Very nice song thumbs up for him and his band .Dont ever stop

  • putting it once again and again and never getting tired... and as this song, all his discography!

    awesome.

  • I'm surprised the freakin' studio didn't go up in flames - that's how hot this song is. Effin' A!!!

  • wow!......... Tu m'inspire vraiment oui tu fait parti des grand bluesman de ce monde

et je d'irai avec un son plus moderne et des meélodie tellement mélodieuse.

Un génie et grand guitariste Bravo Joe!

  • wowwwwww.... thank you xxx

  • ...and then I saw the solo...

  • It's great to see a song done in one clip! That's truly professional.

  • holly shit i never heard this guy before & i fucking love it this shit is deep!!!!!

  • TREMENDOOOOOO!

  • I'm 19 years old, and I am so happy to see guitarist like this still exist! My goal is to keep this style of playing alive in my music, even if I play todays style of senseless rock, this blues style needs to stay alive.

  • God bless you Joe!!

  • Blues guitarists can't compete with this dude here. He's easily the king of modern blues-rock. I gotta say, I liked his spin the classic Sam Brown song. You go, Joe!

  • @ballroomblitzkid1994 Joe is King of modern blues rock, a great pure blues guitarist, a genius, a great singer and a technical wizard. True that. Do you think he is comparable to the likes of Robert Cray, BB King, Buddy Guy and others?

  • (later i saw, that he can also handle a stratocaster)

    addendum

    /jesper

  • so last night all my friends and classmates went to the deadmau5 concert in my town. I was ridiculed for not going. Told i was a loser and a loner who didnt appreciate real music. I laughed in their face, and told them i was seeing bonamassa instead. I pity them, this man is amazing, and far more talented than a dude wearing a robot rats head

    /jesper

  • @rrdross69 Check out 'Davy Knowles with Back Door Slam'

  • rrdross69

Hey Man, Bonamassa is most definately the blues classic man for this generation, but there is also a lot of other great music that has blues at its heart, Jack White immediately comes to mind. Your fine age must be bitter sweet, being alive in the 60s, but not being old enough to smoke the drugs, or maybe you did! in 69! Anyway, I'm proud that my generation has managed to produce Bonamassa, I think he deserves to stand along side the big boys from yours. I'm glad you found him. Peace

  • @rrdross69 Have you checked out the Black Keys?!?

    watch?v=pQL6Hhplm5s

  • @rrdross69 u are so right. i saw Joe Bonamassa on pbs in concert and i truely loved it. brought feelings i didnt think i had no more.
