Gleich wird die Sonne untergehen kann man nicht mit "same" uebersetzen...same heisst: Das Gleiche. Gleich ist eine zeitliche Form....somit eher mit bald zu vergleichen....man kann nicht jedes Wort direkt uebersetzen, muss auch den Sinn hinterfragen..... ;-))) LOL

As a native English speaker, I'd have to go with "Just as the sun goes down" The complete phrase relates back to 1:48 "Hey, halt dich fest, das U-boot/ Hey hold tight, the U-boot is diving." The idea is that boat and sun go down at the same time. "just as" creates that image of both things happening at the same time. "Same as the sun WILL set" puts the setting sun in the future. Does "gleich wrid" mean the same as "gleichzeitig"? Then I'd go ask Nena to tell me what she meant.
