  • It looks like a mini sun

  • About 700 watts of microwave radiation is being emitted from the aperture above the spinning bulb.

  • how do you make that?

  • I think, that camera operator likes to play with lasers etc. Nicely burned cam`s matrix :)))

  • @helldriver85

That's definitely the diaphragm closing because of the light!

  • It looks like there is a beam coming out of the bottom.

  • no, that's just a artifact of the image sensor in the camera. if too much light falls on the sensor, a cascade effect happens that causes all the adjacent sensing cells to tweak out.

  • check out the new ESP High Speed Film; seach youtube for "HIGH SPEED SULPHUR PLASMA IGNITION FILM"

    GERO LUX LUCIS MMVIII

  • How can i get suplhur plasma?

  • Get some sulphur, place it in a vacuum, and apply heat. eventually, after it melts, and then evaporates, it will ionize and become incandescant. Sulphur plasma.

  • The lamp uses high pressure sulfur vapor and a small amount of argon sealed in a quartz envelope. The gases are heated by microwave energy until they reach the plasma state. The argon helps with the ignition process.

  • WOW
