@smeacythe Glad you found my video and got to see the Bridge up close.. It is a great area to visit and I can't wait to get back there sometime again :-)
Great footage Chris , I had a friend on a icebreaker , I wish I could hold my camera that steady , Looks like you had a nice trip . All the Best :o) T/U
@uncledave10 Thanks Dave, It was a very nice trip. You know we took a tour of the Icebreaker Mackinaw and I thought of you while walking around the inside of that ship. It was neat to see all the different areas of the ship, sleeping quarters and the engine room. Me, being over 6 ft. had a hard time walking under everything LOL! Thanks for stopping by for the view and commenting..
Such a beautiful place. Its so hot here today,, I would love to go for the boat ride!! The music goes so well with the video!! I was in Detroit Michigan for a lay over on our way to Kentucky! Is Mackinaw City close to Detroit?
@NaturesFairy No Mackinaw City is way up at the top of the state of Michigan or you could say at the very tip of the glove/mitten :-) That bridge you see here seperates the lower part of Michigan from the upper peninsula. Great place to vacation! Thanks for your comment and I'm glad you enjoyed.
@legendofwayne Thanks Wayne! Yes on Mackinac Island its a bike city since no vehicles are allowed. Though here in the city would be nice to ride around on a bike also.. Cool place for sure!
Such a beautiful video..It seems like I myself did the boat ride. Chris you have filmed it superbly and the pictures are so clear. The views with the bridge are superb clips and it is truly breathtaking..The music too is very matching and it really keeps up with the video.. all in all an excellent piece of video...
@lmmsl Thanks so much for your wonderful comment Menu. Always nice to here from you :-) It was such a nice trip up to Michigan the more I think of it the more I want to get back there again. Thanks again for stopping by and viewing!
@ToppervisionEnt Thanks for your comment! It is a very nice area and I would have no problem living there either full time. I heard from the locals though that it is almost a ghost town during the winter months. Having lived near Lake Erie my whole life it would be very hard to move somewhere that wasn't near water for me so Mackinaw City would suit me just fine.
very nice wow that is a big bridge. and a nice rocket powered tour boat lol. mmn what type camera do you use? looking very good and clear. havea nice day! fsb
@floydstinkyboy It is a very nice bridge and neat to cross to the upper peninsula of Michigan, cost was $7 for a trip up and back on it at $1.75 per axle! That ferry boat with the water jetting out of it is just for looks the guy said but it does make it look like it is thrusting forward from it. I use a Sony HDR-CX100 Camcorder for shooting all my video, easy to use and quite small to carry around. Thanks for stopping by and commenting FSB..
I was messing around with Google Maps and wanted to see what the bridge in Michigan looks like, thanks for the video!

Great video. Went once as a kid, and I remember it being really neat. We rode bikes around the place if I remember right.
