  • the first time i saw the word metaball i thought it said MEATBALL xD

  • @SubscribeToKiyo655 Metaballs give us a lot of fun with spell checkers and auto correct! :D

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! LOl no wonder why da particles didnt show up in the render mode!

  • Great video for new people on C4D. Favourited. :)

  • One...great tutorial...two...im brand new to Cinema 4d and after trying this for some reason no matter what i do when i do a render my particles dont show...any help would be appreciated. Ty.

  • can you make a tutorial on how to do particles with text because i have been looking everywhere for 1 nd cant find it that would be much apprieciated thanks and BTW your tuts are well described and brilliant altogether

  • Hey your tutorials are great thank you but, with the particles I've been trying to make water with the Metaballs but when i do as you did in this video using sphere's in the emitter it just turns to a huge blob, instead of what happened in this video.

  • Glad you like the tutorials. Sounds like your spheres are too big. Scale down the size of them or reduce the particle count...

  • what about real flow?

  • @MaxonC4D how do you make the spheres move faster

  • where can I find the particles in cinema 4D?

  • oh god, thanks man

    you saved my work :D

  • With the basic particle system that would be difficult. What you really want is a fluid dynamics system. Try Real Flow...

  • @MaxonC4D do you have a tutorial where you use particles and effects to make an explosion where it destroys something and if not could you make one

  • So using some physics you could have the spheres pile up into a glass? Use Metaballs in addition to this and have liquid pouring into said glass?

  • Cool!

    I'll try that ;)

  • man this is great! any tip for creating smoke with those particles?

  • To make smoke with the particle system, attach the shader "pyrocluster - volume tracer" to the particle emitter. You can either play with the gradient yourself for realistic smoke, or just go down and use the smoke preset gradient. You can also do this to make fire. (There's also a fireball gradient, which gives you a nice starter and you can manipulate it from that gradient to make the fire how you want.) Explore the different options of the pyrocluster volume tracer to add more effects.

  • Thank You, I've been wondering how to do that for ever, thanks!

  • Nice demo. Thanks

  • this is great tutorial thanks a lot

  • Thanks for the over views. Nice accent too...
