@krvnsry The problem is, there is no black and white definition of Sufism in the Sub-Continent. Everyone who wants to avoid practicing Islam but called Muslim calls himself Sufi. That includes hash smokers who have no idea what Islam is, let alone sufism. That is the reason Wahhabies distainfully refers to Sufies as pot smoking grave worshippers.

The only reason Sufis adopted music in India was because they found Hindus to understand the language of music only, but this is absolute disgrace.

MMM... I have a different argument, I myself a Muslim and the heritage of south asia.

Historically sufisim is a type in Islam, normally practised in egypt or Morocco (quiet low nowadays) but it is one of the types. Some historical books internationally and religiously say sufism were the first muslims to set onto South Asia. Some still practise this in those countries.

Muslims consists of SUNNI/SHIAH/WAHABI & SUFI

Just like Christianity, whom also link with catholic and Protestants.
