Undersquare means the measure of cylinder bore is less than the measure of piston stroke. Oversquare means the measure of cylinder bore is more than the measure of the piston stroke. An undersquare engine will make more torque and limited to lower rpm. oversquare engine will make more HP with higher rpm limit
