  • Plus a Million Dollars from the JREF ;O) ★★★★★

    Katalyzt

  • ATHIESM!

  • @nathan0dts oh really? :O

  • You know a man's a genius when you believe in Gods and spiritual stuff but still agree with every word he says. I believe in a mixture of science and magic, but Tim is just a complete and utter genius

  • @Vamp61616 there's 'scientific' magic and then there's magic, the one with truth is ever more beautiful.

  • @dumbchildmusic I do hope you're talking about the stuff like Penn & Teller do.

  • @TeabagTyrant nupp, the science stuff :) I made it look like I thought science magic was the bad one in my comment by putting it in inverted commas lol.

  • Is he naked or just topless? Gotta love naked and amazingly logical and talented gingers. just saying <3

  • Damn, you´re smart AND funny.

    now work on the looks...

    :)

  • Reasonable experimental conditions is relative. But in response, the Bible, Mahabharata, and the Vedic texts have been used to located many so called myths in our current world. Thus being so if once portion of the text is true then the rest of the text must be taken into consideration. Speechless communication is possible so long as two people and the surrounding air are at the same frequency then yes wireless transmissions of electrical impulses can be achieved, Nikola Tesla proved this.

  • @Pyrateentertainment No, just because one portion of a fictional text is true doesn't mean the other parts become more true if they're not supported by evidence. For example, London exists, but that doesn't mean Hogwarts does, just because London exists in the Harry Potter books.

And reasonable experimental conditions basically means "via the scientific method" If a claim can pass that, then it's reasonable to assume it's true.

  • @RockBanned ohh and sorry i commented before i read your response to him x.x

  • @Pyrateentertainment By this logic in let's say two thousand years they find a spiderman comic from this day, and reading that he lived in a city called new york and they uncover that new york actually existed 2 thousand years ago where this comic took place is there reasonable doubt that there existed superheroes at this time based on this?

  • @fredricklindberg Someone is a Matt Dillahunty fan I bet :P He makes that same Spider man analogy, and it's a great one.

  • @RockBanned Indeed i am and i love that argument :)

  • @denize12345 subconsciously if you believe in any supernatural or higher power you will do so out of fear of consequence, it is natural human instinct is to fear things more powerful than ourselves as well as things that we can not understand, however i am glad that you feel you have found god, good for you :)

  • Dammit, I better get to researching, then. I could use a good piano, leg, and possibly a wife, depending on how good she looks.

  • @inferno232 She's quite lovely ;) But Tim has made a very safe bet. If you can do any of these things you can also claim a million dollars from the Randi foundation.

  • I prefer the live version, he has more emotion in it. And his voice is nomm :P I dont know why they animated it, his voice sounds more robotic and all the animation-ness distracts you from the one thing he actually wants you to look at. His face.

  • Dude, you're my hero! Could you write a song about how people should get their kids immunized so they don't die from preventable diseases? That would be so epic!

  • Looks like your stuck with your wife...

  • i love the animation but sadly it seems like you are lacking your emotion in the song but i love it never the less and your shoeless antics make my days so much better

  • @hazgown amen ;)

  • @pcallender I don't think you can really add this much logic to any of Tim Minchins songs ;P

  • it scared me when he said punish like that lol

  • I went to a church group just for the experience, but I did it with an open mind; then, whilst on the train and strongly thinking "God, I want to live in your guidance" I experienced an extremely warm and supernatural feeling radiating throughout my body. I had many of those thereafter, and feelings of being cradled and comforted by the hand of God. So I believe there is God, but not out of fear:) x Lots of love x

  • @denize12345 Yes, the placebo effect and the impact of self-delusion are well documented phenomena. Good for you, I hope it makes you happy, in which case, as long as you don't slow progress with your beliefs or try to spread them, no harm done by you nice little delusion. =)

  • @denize12345 Doesn't sound like empirical evidence to me. Keep trying :)

  • @denize12345 Placebo effect.

  • How does he still play the piano after he's chucked it out?

  • @pcallender Magic.

  • Take my wife ... please!

    Ah, the classics.

  • tim minchin > chuck norris

  • Fun lyrics, but the beat is off and you can't dance to it. I give it a 45.

  • I think we all discovered an existence of a higher power.

    Tim Minchin.

  • Wonderful.

  • I'm honestly very surprised that 4 people actually worked on this video.

  • @16242T Wives are good for many things. You clearly have your mind in the gutter. Any woman who'd turn down a free wife is missing out.

Also a nice piano is something anyone can enjoy, just like a ... severed human leg.

Sounds like you missed the point of the joke. Either that or you're just not very good at witty comments.

  • .....Why is he topless? xD

  • @MissMcMusic Why the hell not.

  • @RiverofEgypt Good answer xD

  • @MissMcMusic Obvious Reasons 0_0

  • @MissMcMusic Why are you complaining?

  • @bwaybabyrose Trust me, I'm not.

  • i have been able to prove that tim mitchin is the bestest musician/ comedian under reasonable experimental conditions

but i guess we didn't need to do that to know it :)

  • best title for a song ever.

  • I love his eye make-up.. beautiful man!

  • tim, i just saw you so fucking rock show on e4....it was AMAZING!! keep doing what you do...because you are REALLY good at it.....keep it up!!!!!!xx

  • @16242T if she was a lesbian or bi she wud... *_*

  • Ahh well I get a piano, your wife and your leg then for the last one XD

  • Oh, I’ve just conducted a scientific experiment which was supposed to make hydrogen gas from water without the help of electrolysis, but it proved the existence of God instead. I know, I’m just as surprised as God was when he ended up in my test tube. Any who, want to come over, just to verify, I mean I don’t know how long I can keep God in the tube, because I’m claiming the leg only, keep your piano and wife.

  • @youlikeananimalyeah What what it's worth, Tim has really nice legs.

  • HHAHAHHA 10 THUMBS UP!

  • Why might anyone want your wife?

  • File it under "There is no justice"

Tim Minchin only has 7 times as many subscriptions as I do. Ridiculous that he doesn't beat me 100 to 1. But there you go. No justice... no peace? Holster that gun, Tim.

  • Wow. I just discovered this dude. Brilliant and hilarious intelligent comedy! Right on, mate!

  • you can keep your wife, i already have one but the piano and leg i want.......so, god exsists 'cause i saw a picture of him on a piece of toast

  • You had me at leg. You can keep your wife.

  • where can I find the lyrics?

  • I guess I finally will have a chance to make sweet love to ya, Tim, I just wanna make sweet love to ya, just once, I wanna make sweet love to ya, sweet love to ya leg.

  • why NOT shirtless?

  • @BearShaver Why not Zoidberg?

  • Why shirtless?

  • @DCJellybean I think he wants to show the public that he is "undressed" of all preconceptions he might have and open to any proof.

  • Love<3

  • Should have been in 3d =)

  • He reminds me of Jack Sparrow :P

  • i call dibs on his leg

  • @Tritium8 I call dibs on James Randis 1.000.000 $.

  • @Tritium8 Fuck his leg... Gimme his wife... XD

  • Nice animation haha

    Live performance is better.

This is still good though :)

has to be, its tim minchin.

  • I prefer this song with the tony the fish joke before it :) still good though

  • is he naked? :S

  • @rangaliciousnick - ALWAYS!

  • Looking forward to new show coming to Sydney.

  • It's just not as funny as the live version.

  • @Trahern76

it doesn't have to be, its tim minchin, the concept and originality of his songs exceeds the need to watch it live

  • Oh god, I see the stupid arguments have already descended. Flee!

  • Mmm, Tim at his best; being logical, comic, genius and topless. ;)

  • best song ever!

  • fuckin missed in in toeronto last weekend, could you just come to my house, or my richer friends house, they have a grand piano. seriously, i mean, if you're still in town.

  • my video won't load :(

  • @Y2Jlegend Try watching in HD?

  • Yeah, prove to me that there's not a teapot somewhere out there in the Oort Cloud. You can't do it! You can't do it! Ah ha! That means that there IS a teapot out there in the Oort cloud! And if you believe that, I'll give you MY piano, ha ha!

  • @strubinator: The lack of a proof that there is no teapot somewhere in the Oort cloud simply means there COULD be a teapot out there. If one wanted to make the claim that there is one would need to supply evidence for the claim. Currently we can say that we dont know if a teapot exists out there, but given our current understanding it seems pretty bloody unlikely.

  • Exactly... Beautiful song.

  • erm, how about "Paul the Octopus" ?

can I get your piano now ? :)

  • humm....half naked tim...just like my dreams

  • Good, but so, so much better live.

  • Why r u half naked? Not that im not enjoying it ;)

  • This song is so beautiful, I think I'm going to cry! <3

  • hehe, excellent stuff timmeh :)

  • love it

  • Odd. But I like it.

  • Aha what even is this! It's pretty sick, I like it. Pure laughed at the way he said 'punish' though :)

  • Love the song, but I like the live performance more. Much more honest and hilarious. Also, 1995 called, they want their 3D animation back.

I still like the video though. :)

  • @EricLobdell 1993 called they want that saying back ......... Lmao

  • @EricLobdell Hey Toy Story came out in 95. Try 1985.

  • @paulunga whoa I came out in 1995, I always though Toy Story came out a little later than that.

  • This was so awesome I just thought I had to comment... Although I don't really know what to say because the video really says it all. In fact I really shouldn't even post this comment because if I do someone might read it and get lost in my weird train of thought... By now I forgot what I was saying so I am just going to post this.

  • *cough* to many words to say in one go *dies*

    loves tim very much <3

  • 9th

  • Tim still does live shows in the UK right?

  • Shirtless Tim???

  • This is the kind of music video that should be on TV.

Never mind Lady Gaga and her 'look at me I'm so wacky and wild wearing a shrimp on my head whilst I whip a god' antics. This is what the people need.

  • @onthewalkoffame Ha actually meant to put dog. Although it wouldn't surprise me..

  • Anyone else notice how much ginger spice looks like Tim Minchin?

  • Hahaa. Love Tim.

  • hooray abuse of rubbish and a "entity" that is so omnicient that it in no way can it stop these songs. :)

  • GO tim!
