  • i did the camera control on the wii

  • Atleast in the wii version we can hold up to 4 items while in the GCN you hold up to 2 items

  • @JossyHadash Either you suck at Skyward Sword or you're just retarded. The controls are great. Beat it with 42 hours of play time and am halfway through hero mode. I think you're just bad..

  • All the reason why I like the ORIGINAL Gamecube version better

  • i love this game so much but i won't buy it for wii cause if i do i'll get a headach from playing the GCN verison for 2 years

  • I loved the game so much I bought it for both Wii and Gamecube <3

  • i miss the gamecube controls... especially after playing Skyward Sword.. thing is fucking irresponsive and slow as hell.... worst controls ever, completely ruins what could be a nice game. at least the wii controls in TP u could still run and cut grass and select items in a normal way.. at least they resonded to what u wanted to do... in SS it doesn't respond or responds slowly... u gotta switch positions the whole time... it's horrible, it makes u wanna quit the game in rage.

  • @JossyHadash troll

  • @JossyHadash i wish they would bring back the gamecube controls 2 :( i miss them

  • This makes me REALLY mad that I initially switched my pre order from the GC version, to the wii..

  • Why are people hating the motion controls on the Wii version? I felt they were perfect. It doesn't over do it which I feel Skyward Sword controls will be. I'll still love SS though.

  • @markleye1 Skyward Sword over did it? What... In Twilight Princess, you can just shake the Wiimote and he'll swing his sword the same way every time. In Skyward Sword, they made the motion controls perfect, so what ever direction you swing with the Wiimote, Link does the same. They aren't overdoing anything.

  • in wii version u cant charge your sword while running

  • you can also hop off epona galloping at full speed

  • You forgot to add "Have fun"

  • You can do all that in Wii version too dumbass rotate the control stick and wave around the fucking controller and press B to go widescreen get a life and quit comparing retard. GameCube isn't that great.

  • @sleepyb39 erm, he zoomed in and out, he controls the angle of the camera, he shows how link is left handed in this version. And the gamecube is that great. It's created one of the best games ever, zelda wind waker. Twilight princess was originely built for the gamecube but was released for the wii earlier than the gamecube released it. So if the gamecube version was the original then I think it would be better as it has more features...Learn the facts kid. HA! peace out -.-

  • @sleepyb39 uhm 1st u cant infinite spin that fast in the wii version, 2nd why would u watch this video if u want him to quit comparing? why don't you quit trolling and get your self a life? hah u can't tell him to get one when you obviously dont have one yourself

  • yeah but theres one thing i noticed in the wii version you gan aim with the heros bow or sling shoot and move at the same time since the gc controler dosnt use the c stick to aim all you can do is strafe if i remeber right.

  • reason i wanted the GC version (sigh)

  • Wii version is still better. Why you ask? For several reasons.

    1.Slightly better visuals

    2.Motion controls are more fun.

3.A new copy of the wii version is cheaper than the gc version.

  • @gamingwonderboy Wrong. gc ver was cheaper because you dont need motion controls in it but in wii it was more work my new copy for GC was 20$ mine for wii 35$ from the same place.

  • @Madeline1999 I got my copy off of Amazon and the Wii version was cheaper than the gc version.

  • It's all about left-handed Link. Left-Handed people will rule the world one day.

  • they shouldnt make skyward sword with wii motion plus. they should keep it in the regular twilight princess controls.... zelda plus motion controls dont mix!

  • @CocaineDrRockso Actualyl people who played the Skyward Sword demo said it had a natural feel to playing.

  • @CocaineDrRockso

How do you figure that? Dude, Zelda and motion controls mix PERFECTLY. Everyone who tried the demo's loved it, said it felt really natural and quite some of them said it was the future of Zelda, and that they couldn't go back to playing Zelda with a normal controller after this.

  • @Darktoonlink88 that was a while ago... i like the twilight princess wii now lol

  • @Darktoonlink88 I sold my copy of the Wii game, the controls were really stupid and at the beginning when you're suppose to be fishing it felt broken and it took me an hour or more to do it. I'm looking for the gamecube version, motion controls are shit. they're alright with first person shooters such as metroid prime on the Wii.

  • I like the wii better and the reason why people like the gc better is because they were expecting it first from nintendo so gc fans shut up were getting skyward and your not

  • @justinode ... I'd think most people that had a gamecube will now have a wii

  • @DannytheArab Yup! I did.

  • wasnt this the last gamecube game ever made?

  • the gc version have better graphics, better the attacks and better in dificulty

  • @ceron2008

    Better graphics? lol

  • @miopizza yes, i have the twilight wii version, and the wii version see more ilumination, in GC version see better, see more dark :]

  • @chucho766

That does not mean the GC version has better graphics

  • @miopizza sorry my brother's channel

  • @miopizza Yes the graphics are better, you can see the pixels on the Wii version, They improved the resolution with no Anti Aliasing which made it pixelated.

  • man, if you tried to do that spin attack on wii you'd have one sore arm...

  • i can do it if I buy a gamecube controller

  • technically, the wii version only holds one tem, because you have to set it from the arrows, to the B button, so, it gets confusing after some time

  • Gamecube version is so much better. I mean it's so freaking classic! And the controls are

    Better.

  • I have both and I can easily say the gc version is better, seriously the only thing the wii wins over is widescreen and having more items assigned, and i guess the aiming but i like first person better anyway. theres a lot of things u can do in the gc version like being able to look around without having to put ur freaken shield up, and while your running, if u hold down B link will hold his sword behind him and run, and u can also charge spin attacks and crouch on epona. i dunno just my 2c

  • its the same graphics??(wii and gamecube)

  • I have to side with the GC one on this. I got the gamecube version and then the wii version later and there was a bit of noticeable differences. The Wii may have slightly better graphics, but that's not worth much in my opinion. GC you could do everything mentioned in this video, plus you could quickly dismount epona (a very nice bonus in my opinion). Let's not forget the game was originally intended for gc but later made available for wii with no major differences or add-ons.

  • Oh, and I should've probably added that I also liked how you actually used the wiimote to control the boomerang, arrows, slingshot, etc for the Wii. Very fun. I still think it was a little in the early stages though. Which is why I'm super excited for Skyward Sword when they've worked all that out and it's 100x better.

  • @fleetfoxboxtrot are you referring to where he does the backflippy thing off Epona? if so you can do that in the wii version. not sure how though, ive done it by accident before, lol.

  • @fleetfoxboxtrot you can backflip off epona in the wii version. Also Wii supports widescreen format. Though I wish it wasnt flipped.

  • What!? You can't move the camera much around in the Wii version!!? that is no fun at all, I mean seriously, do you know how breath taking it looks when you zoom out the camera all the way out while riding Epona over the huge bridge over Lake Hylia?

  • @KitsuneGIRL1111111 Riding around on Epona with the camera zoomed out is awesome. You can zoom really far out. It's great. :)

  • @KitsuneGIRL1111111 to be fair you couldnt rotate the camera in Ocarina :) iv hat the wii version for 4 years now but just ordered the cube version was so expensive! :S

  • The Wii version's still better =P Can't wait for Skyward Sword!

  • The diehard fans will probably just get them both. As for me I just got the wii version since the developers focosed more on the wii version and tried to bring a great experience for wii user. I think they succeded in that.

  • 0:05 zoom the camera - you can't in Wii

0:15 free camera mode - you can't in Wii

0:21 non stop spin attack - you can't in Wii

0:27 use more than one item - you can do that in Wii

  • @SieghartzBR you cant aim and see where your going with gc

  • @Project811

I know thats a wii feature I have both versions and I prefer the gamecube one

  • @SieghartzBR lol are you watching zeldatron?

  • @Project811

    no, why?

  • @SieghartzBR cause your awake and they just started tp its the last one they are playing

    zeldathon its its own website

  • @Project811

I dont live in North america I live in UK the time here is 12:17 =P

  • @SieghartzBR lol true well they are playing at liek 8 am so their kinda tired but in like 5 hrs liek 12 peopel will be there

  • @Project811 nice now im watching it xD

  • @Project811 Actually you can if you use the "L" aiming while shooting ^^

  • dude every body can do that on gamecubexD

  • Does some persons have problem learning the new controls?

If so, it is not games fault you just need to practice!

  • Game Cube rules

  • ok let's blame the world for beign 90% of right handed people XDDDDDD

  • firstly, spamming spin attacks only makes a easy game easier, there were multiple problems with fans and players of the game if they mirrored it or not and if they did both it would be a lag fest, (and dont talk about memory as the wii has more complex controls taking up way more disk space, the first person view versus camera is preference and so is nearly every other dispute so dont try and call a result without being hated upon

  • Why the F--- does everyone care about link being left handed? I admit, the fact they mirrored the graphics was wierd, but who cares? Its the same game. I have the wii version, and like 2 years ago I played the gc version at a friends house. They are really about the same. I guess I can't say the wii version is better, because I really didn't take a good enough look at it at my friends house since we only played for like 30 mins.

  • link being right handed is aright

  • GC is better cus link is left handed

  • Yes, man! Its 10,000 better when LINK is left-handed. I hate it when Link is right-handed

  • @DetektivConan1994 what is so bad about Link being right handed

  • Yeah Link is not then Original

  • you realize the entire wii version is mirrored right? (everything is opposite)

  • yes......

  • @Moviewatchnmake

It doesnt matter if he is left handed or both handed or right handed. At least they also could have made a left handed model (game) for the Wii. but this would have take much diskspace or neeeded a DL-Disk which allready did problems with SSBB. So its tarded to say its better because of he is left handed...

  • Its a Gamecube game, so the game itself must be around 1.5gb or so... Wii discs are 4.7gb, so they easily had enough space to add an unreversed version of the game as well if they wanted

  • @SM2lgy Making the game mirrored is a simple core engine option that is easily implemented in any 3D game. It just flips the rendering process and modifies the controls slightly (left right need flipping etc.) They wouldn't need to put a second copy of the game on the disc, it could have easily been an option within the main menu (Mirror Mode On/Off)

  • That true but the DL-DVDs go up to 8.5 gigs that disc is used for ssbb.

  • @SM2lgy The game is 1.61 gigs excactly. They could have done so much more with the space left over, but the game was not originally meant for Wii. Oh well, I am a Wii fanboy and i will love the next game!!!:)

  • @rosshaslost Aksulhi ate U R WIPHIN WRONKY KLAZZY TWO BED AZ WALL Enside grandy motife géme meent 2 WII WARE ON EN WHAN TWO BED AZ WALL WARE UP

  • I've played both versions and the Wii version is ok...But the GC one is a lot better. (At least I think so) I hate the fact that the next Zelda game will be on the wii only (no shit lol) But what I hate is that it'll most likely have a right handed Link again and you'll have to use the Wii mote... The chances are Nintendo won't have a GC control feature... And to be honest, GC control keeps things Classic, unlike Wii mote. If you're gonna flame me for saying I like GC control better. don't reply

  • @SaiyanWarriorGoku

I think you're right... they should at least have the option of using the gamecube controller, but they probably won't

  • @SaiyanWarriorGoku I'm not sure but I heard you can choose which hand Link uses in the new Zelda game.

  • @SaiyanWarriorGoku Considering Skyward Sword is Motion control's. Im sure at the begining it'll ask you if Right Handed or Left Handed. The same way it does when you select a mii in Wii Sports Resort Bowling

  • Link is left handed in all his games.

  • yea but in the twilight princess wii version they made him right hand for the wii remote

  • @earthboundk Not windwaker

  • @earthboundk Didn't he swap hands a everytime he turned around in the 2D games?

  • also you can run while getting your spin attack ready and hold the b button to hold it until it finishes flashing.

  • In the GC version everything is left to right or

right to left especially the map.

Not to mention link is left handed here

and on wii is right handed.

This one you can use 2 thing at a time

    and has firstperson view too,awesome!

^_^ Which one is better? Wii or GC

  • He does it in all the games...

  • I wish the wii version had an option to switch to GC controls if a GC controller was plugged in.

  • i love the wii version more, i like swinging the wii remote and "acidently hitting my cousin in the head, i have a sword holder for my wii remote lol.

  • gc is ezer but wii is funer gc has more things link can do but wii has cross hairs thats a bout it o and if u started on th gc is fucking hared to play wii cuz of the fliped thing it took lo0nger for me to beat it

  • is english your first langauge?

  • Hahaha pretty much the same thing I was thinking ;)

  • lern 2 spel

  • you dont get a backsalto of youre horse by the wii

    and camera control

  • like, come on game cube is the easiest to hold

  • you can do it with or without saving

  • both versions are kickass. i prefer the wii though because the controls are more fun than that of GC. also, if you hacked TP, its free on wii(homebrew). overall, both versions are tight^^ you can do more in GC though. :]

  • You can do boomerand jump in GC

  • The Wii version doesn't use a retarded remote.

I swear to God, I can't hold the GC controller for the life of me. It feels so akward.

  • you need to use both hands

  • jakeboy i agree plus that everythins reversed!!!!! yay im a retard!

  • wow. um, you use your hands and press buttons? have you ever played ANY games before the wii?

  • What has that got to do with anything? I'm saying the remotes are fucking huge, and you crack out this little nugget? Does it even make sense?

  • lol, dude, have you held any remote before? It's the easiest remote to hold...

    Try holding an X-box one.

  • Even if you do think its big, buy a small one.. yes, they do have them.

  • I bet you cant even get past the first level on Contra ^.^

  • I like the GC version alot. I own both versions and I enjoyed the Gc one more. One thing I like about it-the camera.

  • GC version is exclusive, but I enjoy the Wii version more because the controls are more fun. The reason it wasn't a great game is because they spent too much time porting the game to the wii and giving it the controls. This game should be seen as a Gamecube title that just so happened to be ported to the Wii =/

  • What's also different is that on the GC version he's left-handed, but on the Wii version he's right-handed...

  • Which sucks for me, I'm left-handed. I actually got the Wii version, played it for the first time, and I was like "Oh, dammit."

  • Lol same here. They should have at least left the option to change it back to us left handers.

  • you know you can change it to lefty

  • How exactly am I supposed to do that? I'd be playing the game a lot more if I could.

  • just go to options and choose lefty and there you got it and try it while you are playing just look up a video on it or google it

  • I looked for that in the in-game options the other day, do I have to do it before I load the save?

  • =/ stupid gc version....well at least i can get better aim with the bow and claw shot on the wii version

  • To me the wii version and the gc version are excactly the same besides the flip nd someone can get perfect aim with the gamecube controller. I can get better aim with the gc version than the wii version so the wii's aiming has nothing to do with it.

  • really i get better aim with wii cuz i can get to my target faster

  • i have TP for GC

  • You forgot being able to jump on Epona's back from behind. That is frickin' beastly. :P

  • you can do that on wii version tho...

  • Oh, oops, I meant backflipping off Epona.

    Hehe. :)

  • that to...

  • You are what most poeple would call a wannabii fanboy...

  • Comment removed

  • I'm still remembering the times with OoT on 64. Easy to start, hard to master.

Also, try aiming your bow in hangover.

  • I still think having trouble aiming with weapon is a major factor for me that bring this game back to where Ocarina of Time used to be

  • Alright, calm down dude. First off, Zelda TP IS a gamcube game, the Wii version is a port. That doesn't mean that the Wii version isn't as good as the GC, infact most consider it to be better(I like GC better though), but Zelda TP was never meant to be on the Wii. Nintendo wanted to launch it with the Wii and the GC was pretty much dead at the time. And no, the next Zelda won't be on the GC. Sorry.

  • @twilightwarrior1 NOOOOOO! THATS NOT FAIR!!!!!! *rolls on floor crying*

  • @twilightwarrior1 The Wii version is way better. There is no good reason the Gamecube version is better. There is nothing wrong with the Wii controls, it's more fun, fishing is easier, it's more innovative, You can have more items out at a time, going through menus is easier and it uses less memory space. Sure you can't rotate the camera, but you can't on Oot either. Besides, that's one thing. And don't say it was originally meant for Gc, Who gives a shit?!

  • @gameaddict51 THANK YOU.

  • @gameaddict51 Whilst I agree with you that the Wii version is better, it actually was developed for the GC - the Wii version is actually a port.

And don't forget, the Wii version has Progressive Scan - a feature not included in the GC version.

  • @HybridGamingNation Shut up, the Wii version is not better. At all.

  • you forgot about long jump attack

  • Stop complaining, I have both versions, I like them both, and the new zelda is not coming to Gamecube so fuck you

  • Calm down fag, have piece of cheese.

  • I just realized something.

On the Gamecube, you can "combo" slingshot to boomerang by quickly alternating between the two. On the Wii, you can't. In Melee, you can combo. In Brawl, you can't.

    COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT.

  • @LeftyHangsLower slingshot on melee?

  • @LeftyHangsLower slingshot in melee?

  • the GC version is way easier to control..

But the Wii version is way funnier.

  • i liked wii version a lot better, i mean, dont get me wrong, ive beaten and liked both but wii is just a lot simpler menu, and a lot better aiming, and moving while aiming, its just a lot better for novice and experienced players

  • GC version is only people say better cus the controls are better and other stuff i dont care i think only the controls are better noting more

  • man i really miss zelda. i sold all my gc games and my gc cuz i thought sony was better. now i realize i am a fool. i even had every single gc zelda game finished ;(

  • I sold my GC with all my games back in 2005 and I rebought the whole stuff 2 weeks ago. the 2 zeldas, MGS, RE 0,1,2,3,4 - Megaman X collection - sad thing is that I can't put the GC in 480p cause its ugly as hell on a LCD HDTV. I used to have a 27 inchs standard TV 4 years ago - oh well I might have to repurchase a brand new Wii sometimes cause my first died on me while gatantee xpired GAMCUBE WAS AND STILL A GR8 CONSOLE :D

  • It felt the same really.

  • wtf?

  • i feel more comfortable with the gc version. wii controls mmm they just dont work for me.

  • i liked the wii version better. personaly i think it was great for getting use to the new wii controler. and some of the puzzles are slightly diffrent. like the boomarang pattern for the little wind things.

  • i prefer the gamecube version, i find the controls easier, this could be because i played the gc 1 1st n the symmetry has screwed up my wii gameplay lol.

  • Oh my god, does it really matter which console is better? It's the same on both consoles. So the screen is flipped and Link's not a lefty on the Wii version, who gives a crap? The game is awesome no matter which version you're playing.

  • i think wii version is a port of the gc version becuz i own both versions people are just saying that bcuz the wii was a new system at the time like re4 is

  • this was actually a wii game ported to GC

  • If that were the case then the Wii REALLY sucks ass. :D

  • I hope you're trolling.

I REALLY REALLY hope you're trolling.

    .. Fuck, it worked.

  • who gives a shit?

everyone knows tha wii is a WAY better system

  • If it was better, how come the only good game it has is a shitty port of an awesome GC game?

  • Smash Bros brawl is a good game. >.>

  • yes, but very overhyped.

  • hellz yea, wii rules

    gamecube's reign is done

  • But... but... it's funner to play it on the Wii... just give it a chance :(
