  • 2 dimensional computer display of a 5d cube?

  • I want a 10-hour video of that!

  • i have the weirdest boner right now

  • For you Lovecraft fans, just try to imagine that the architecture from Call of Cthulhu is made out of bricks shaped like this one.

  • you changed the song ;_; what was the old song?

  • Love yours by the way !!!!

  • I have a 3d representation of a 5d cube made of brass - there is a picture of it on my face book

if you want to have a look

  • They changed the song

  • If this is the SHADOW of a 5D object, imagine the object o_o

  • *timebomb in my brain blows up* <--- Mind Blown

  • what the fuck's up with the music?

  • What makes this different from a 4D Hypercube? I don't see anything different.

  • @Amaroqdricaldari because you are stuck in 3D unlike me i can see it perfectly trollface.jpg

  • @Amaroqdricaldari Technically, it's just a hypercube with more lines. Since we can only see up to three dimensions and the three dimensional hypercube models are like shadows of a four dimensional object, there is technically no difference between this and a hypercube model other than the shape. If we could see the fourth and fifth dimensions we'd be able to see the real difference.

  • What's the software used for this?

  • think i saw a swastika

  • It all makes sense on weed.

  • Argh what is it doing, it fills my mind with fuck, yet i desire to understand it so very much...

  • Is she calling squirrels ?

  • music is scary

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THAT WOMEN?!

  • this video would've been better without the stupid twat making monkey noises in the background.

thank the youtube gods for enabling me to mute this bitch.

  • That's gotta be Manhattan Transfer! I'd recognize cheryl's voice anywhere!

  • Is the God-awful Yoko Ono blathering to awkward jazz really necessary? I'm trying to understand n dimensions and it doesn't help.

  • @latios4 haha

  • worst song i have ever heard. and yeah i know its meant to be weird, doesn't mean i want to listen to it! =D

  • What the hell is this song, its inane. Me so want the SOURCE!!

  • im scared

  • Broaden your horizon of perception. You live in the realm which you can see and understand.Think in 2d your going to live in two d think outside the Box or seeing in black and white are more then just forms of expression.

  • am I the only one able to see it turn in EVERY direction at the same time...

  • WITCHCRAFT!, WITCHCRAFT I SAY

  • Honestly, do even need to go beyond the tesseract? That's a mind fuck as it is?

  • fuck this im going to go watch more videos about Gabe Newell

  • Oh what a classic trick.

The thing is, we always perceive our world in 2D no matter what, in what appears to be a 3D world.

Don't believe me? If this wasn't true, with our visual perception being 2D, how do artist drawings of landscaps or people bare realism?

For that matter, how do you explain this Penteract playing tricks with out eyes?

Perception is a varied thing, which subjectivly changes from each and every person. In other words, no perspective can be the same (In this reality anyway).

  • a 5d object in a 3d animation projected onto a 2d surface (your computer screen)

    confusing as fuck

  • A 5-D object, projected into 4-D, then into 3-D space, then on to the 2-D computer screen.

Can it get any more complicated?

  • @BRyanS72 Yep =D

  • @eliteguy94 I don't know, surely they'd angles be more devisable in reckoned actual so one could appreciate the fuller prime of the falling differentials moving about.

  • @rollingcube Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

  • why is this 5D, it looks to me just 2D at the moment. Can't wait until 3D TV's are more popular and then perhaps you could make an animation a bit more explanatory.

  • @rollingcube It's a projection of a 5D hypercube on 3D universe (we are 3D being). Watch watch?v=v3JiWEcBR-U

  • @rollingcube 3d tv's wouldnt make much of a difference, your still technically seeing 2d.

  • OMG I THINK MY BRAIN TURNED ON FIRE... COOKIES!

  • MY BRAIN! AHHHHHH

  • That would look like a perfect cube in the 5D

  • wow where did u get that beat from?

  • watch this video to get high.

  • What's the song?

  • See, kids, this is what you see when you do drugs.

  • if 2d is x and y and 3d is z and 4d is u whats 5d?

  • @halfhumanhalfzombie 4D is W, so I'd image 5D is V.

  • For some reason this is sex to my eyes.

  • There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call "The Twilight Zone". ;)

  • This is the stuff I look up at 5 in the morning...

  • that's obviously 2d because my screen is -_-

  • WOW

  • That was pretty cool.

  • Is this real life?

  • @rfrakctured yes this is real life. hyperspace is real. how do i know? because everything around you finite except for the "infinite" universe from our perspective. Outside the universe, the universe would be finite instead of infinite. And ultimately the vibrations of hyper energy is what gives rise to the various particles and forces in our universe. God is energy thus the soul is energy and therefore by the laws physics death is not the end of the story given the concept of hyperspace.

  • @henf5671 Turn my david-after-dentist joke into a conduit for evangelical nonsense, will you? Have at thee, you pseudo-intellectual douchebag!

  • @rfrakctured btw i'm not religious. i don't believe in a god. i wasn't expecting that response from you. And you're the douchebag!

  • @henf5671 It's too late for logic now! En garde!

  • @rfrakctured look up m-theory

  • @henf5671 Already saw that one. Keanu kicked ass as Neo.

  • wtf

  • width - i see it, height - i see it, length - i see it.

  • shit music

  • @unitvectorIJK Well said

  • ming=blown

  • I WANT 5D PORN !!!!!

  • @DidTheGameStart 5D PORN equals 9000 PENISES!!!!!!!

  • 1D - check

    2D - check

    3D - check

    4D and onwards - WTF???

  • and I thought a tesseract fucked with my head...

  • nnyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan

  • STOP THE MADNESS!!!!

  • i bet 4d creatures are theorizing about this..

  • looks cool, but name the 5 d's. ill help5 you with the first three: Length, Width, Height, and ill leave you with the last 2

  • @DavidNancyTom Stretch and span. Boom

  • nyan cat, math genius, 4d cube then this. thums up if this is how you got here

  • good thing i dropped acid this morning

  • its sad that every vid of these is on a computer my friend in 6th grd can draw one of these no problamo

  • @22bearsfan so make him sculpt one.

  • @InTheFruit lol that he cant do XD

  • so... this is a 4d cube with 8 other 4d cubes surrounding it? it is awfully confuzzling.

  • way to reckoning to this vid:

    1. Nyan Cat 3.5 hours (mind Gone)

    2. Math Genius (mind blown WTF)

    3. 4D cube (mind Headaches)

    4. this video, well minf full of fuck.

  • The color is only their to show the layers it would have. But if we did see or imagine one we would get some brain loss from loss of explanation we would also just die but no one would ever know until travel to other Dimensions is possible witch will never be.

  • @XOp4X yes and no, we only just barely understand atoms. Oh, we can model them fairly well, and we can use mathematics to calculate them, but then, that is all that these graphical representations ultimately are. But trying to really imagine an electron cloud, one differentiated into the various orbital configurements, is at the edge of our ability to imagine and we find many useful (and less useful) purposes for them. The point being, it's unwise to declare the impossible, if survive atleast

  • its impossible to comprehend a penteract, when we can bearly imagine a tesserect. a penteract, as shown in 3d, is impossible to imagine. we cant understand 4d fully in 3d.

  • @ywjxing Well, if you invest a big amount of time (like me), you can at least imagine and understand a tesseract. It would be even harder to imagine a pentaract, but it wouldn't wouldn't be imposible..

  • @OnceIWasJosh its impossible. the 4th dimension doesnt exist in our world. we dont know where to start. its just imagination built out of nothing

  • @ywjxing but we're actually just arguing about the possibility of imagination. I stated imagination (and so comprehension) is possible. That's it, I don't bother if this is real or not, I just love the mind game.

  • MY MIND IS FULL OF FUCK

  • @AmunRa1 lol

  • @AmunRa1 haha I'm lovin it

  • the fourth demention is illousion then whats the fifth

  • OMG I WANT THAT SONG!!!

  • @KovertKitty Oh, then you are gay.

  • @hey10674 yep... nail to the wall with that one >.>

  • So explain to me... the sides arent changing shape at all its just the perception of 4D?

  • @Polaf3456 yes because the fourth dimension is the time

  • as a matter of fact it is 5d :)

  • ok figuring out the tesseract is hard enouf as it is, this is just IMPOSSIBLE.

  • not 5d by ANY chance, it looks 3Dish on a 2D surface, but its still cool though xD

  • @Erikispro get the fudge out!

  • Wow....

  • how can u say its 5D when we can't see dimensions above that 3D nd @baitstaker123: we use 4D daily in our life thats time imagine you want to meet some one you would tell him location and time location is 3 dimensional and time is the fourth dimension

  • @aman0arora Hrm, strictly speaking that is only if you use the definition of Spacetime, but I actually think baitstalker is strictly referring to Four-dimensional space, which is something we can only imagine, and have apropriately named "Tetraspace", but in layman's terms, to make it more comprihensible, you could use the term "Trength"... It's... RATHER complicated to explain how 4D works, because, simply put, we don't have it.

  • Oh my... my Go-ooood nNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Woah there I still don't understand how 4d works lol

  • My eyes cannot contemplate the awesomeness of this cube.

  • If you look closely it's merely some 3D Cube's and trapezoids as well as rectangles together.. it's still 3D.. Want to know why?

We can only SEE 3D.. How on earth would we recreate a 5D something if we cannot see it? We have 3D : Length, depth and width...

4th Dimension = Space-Time, which we are uncapable of seeing.

5th Dimension = Thing of which Space-Time is made.. Short: Space-Time Fabric.

  • @MrBryanBBG This is common sense. There are no objects higher than 3-d that we can see; save these recreations which are nothing more than 3-d renditions of theoretical dimensions. Anything higher than 3-d may not even exist, be it spatial dimensions (as in what's seen in this video) or time dimensions.

  • @Patheios

That's true since we 'think' Time-Space is THE 4 th dimension.

Space-Time Fabric is considerably the 5th.

We ordinate these things under dimensions as well because we believe we can move around in it just like the other 3.

  • @MrBryanBBG yea but a 4d object wouldn't be bound by 3d rules... if we could see it, it would appear to be in two places at once. draw a cube.... ok now you know how you did that right... drew a square and then drew in a series of other squares to make it appear like a cube right? right. now look at every square you drew to make a cube... there are six of them. make a "cube" from every one of those squares. the points that intersect exist as multiple corners at once... in a 4d world.

  • what is the difference between this and a 3d object that changes shape?

  • @angrygrunt Whats the difference between a Cube and three parallelograms joined at the edges?

  • @DRXY1 3 more parallelograms?

  • @angrygrunt The difference being is that this isn't merely a 3-d object changing shape. It's a recreation of a 5-d object doing a few rotations; or at least what we'd perceive a 5-d object doing a few rotations to look like.

  • song prease?

  • @x1mastershake1x dlon't krnow

  • I got mind rape

  • trippy trippy

  • i used to draw "pyramids" and i would imagine it,is it a pyramid from the top view, and bam,it would look like your looking at it from the top,and i would think "is it a pyramid with no bottom, and your looking at it from the "bottom" and it would look like your looking at it from the bottom.

  • A tesseract I can comprehend. Then... it hurts my brain.

  • @ulrichgilros

You only think you can comprehend a tesseract. You really can't though. You can see and comprehend the three dimensional representation of a tesseract. Nobody can comprehend a true tesseract. It's just not possible.

  • @BobbyTubes I TOTALLY CAN SHUT UP

And yeah, that's basically what I mean. I understand how it moves (three dimensionally) and I sort of get the idea of it, but this just...

  • @ulrichgilros

    "I TOTALLY CAN SHUT UP"

    No you can't.

I'm only messing with you now.

  • @BobbyTubes Prove that I can't! You can't prove it! Maybe logic says so, but I AM A GOD!

  • @ulrichgilros

My apologies, my Lord! I had no idea!

  • @BobbyTubes You are... forgiven.

  • @ulrichgilros

Thank you for not smiting me.

  • @BobbyTubes You're welcome. Remember to pay your pittance.

  • pause at 0:00 ,it's just a square

  • I just took 5d20 SAN damage

  • Looks like a 4d cube to me. Blue, yellow, green, red: four colors, four dimensions. Its a tesseract.

  • ....what just happened?

  • Ow MAH EYES!

  • whoa.....up till now I thought my mind was unfuckabkle.

  • rofl

  • That ain't no cube lol

  • Yo! I be's goin 5D on you mofo azz!

  • what is this song?

  • it 's dancing break dance.

    . . G .

  • This somehow reminds me of earthbound.

  • trippy

  • [adult swim]

  • i dont understand the 5D part!:?

  • @gamerstrange Basically a 2D object is a 1D object offset sideways and connected by perpendicular lines so a 3D object is a 2D object is projected up/down and connected by perpendicular lines. Therefore a 4D object is a 3D object offset in a direction (impossible for us to see because we are a 3D being in a 3D space) and connected by perpendicular lines. So finally a 5D object is a 4D object offset into a 5th direction and connected again. I hope this helps. >:)

  • Yo dawg, I put a hypercube in your hypercube!

  • @FluffyBunniesOnFire

Yo dawg, I heard you like mindfuck, so I put a hypercube in your hypercube so now you can mindscrew while you mindscrew!

  • Sick beats

  • what's the name of this song?

  • Hmm... kinda like that "Rotating Ballerina" gif..... look at it long enough, and you can see it turning either clockwise or counterclockwise.

  • Mind = blown at 0:15 seconds

  • Anyone know source on the music?

  • is a 5D Hypercube 4 teseract in eachother because a 4D one is 4 cubes in eachother?

  • @123456789kamran A tesseract (4D hypercube) has a surface composed of 8 adjacent cubes. A pentaract (5D hypercube) has a surface composed of 10 adjacent tesseracts. None are ever inside of each other.

  • my head just sploded

  • 0. Null. 1. Line. 2. Box. 3. Cube. 4. Tesseract. 5. Penteract.

  • Comment removed

  • It makes perfect sense in math, kinda makes sense in my head, but makes no sense whatsoever to my eyes!

  • @blobface007

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of visual representations of these objects. They look cool, but they're basically useless as they're a projection of a projection.

  • I'm reading all these comments and I'm just thinking WTF language is this

  • What's the name of the song?

  • A 2D representation of a 3D projection of a 5D object?!?! WTF!?!

  • I thought this would be in youtube 3d mode. That'd be super awesome. I had my 3d glasses ready...

  • cube: simple

tessaract: well, i get this... i think

    penteract: OH CMON!

  • @dsorte I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion, but it is quite clearly a 5-D cube. It is an orthographic projection, so at any moment the edges are only pointing in 5 distinct directions, not 9. >.<

  • @dsorte

    How an you tell

  • this is stupid, i underdestand the part of the tessaract where u shadow it in 3d and see it in 2d I GET IT Ok. BUT FUCK for this ull have to shadow it in 4D then reshadow in 3d then project on 2d FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • @dobre0nony, I do not get this video either. Cast 3D cube to 2D and you can imagine what happens when you cast 4D tessaract to 3D. You will get limited projection, shadow of real object. This is quite easy to understand. But how you can project 5D object in 3D? It is like casting 3D cube into 1D line... It is represented by straight line... How accurate is this representation? Answer is: it is completely inaccurate....

  • @deathbef i dont know whether to call u a nerd, or b confused...

  • who felt the need to take this to 5d? i was just starting to grasp 4d.... :(

  • @Qmurda all the fourth dimension is, is time. everything including you and me, travel through the fourth dimension. just by being anything.

  • @thepkey What this and other "4d object/4d cube" videos are dealing with is a 4th spatial dimension, such as side to side, up and down, and forwards and backwards. Time is something entirely different. A point, a line, a square, and a cube all experience time. However, a square, for example, cannot experience up and down, if it was contained in a horizontal plane. Likewise, we, being 3d objects, cannot experience a 4th spatial dimension.
