It's a high stress job. A pilot makes an error he kills everyone on board. An ATC also has that responsibility, only it's with every plane on his screen.

I used to be a flight attendant, and this kind of petty shit goes on all the time. The pilots hate ATC, the flight attendants hate the gate agents, it's total Days Of Our Lives shit. And the pilot was right about these obnoxious guys who are passengers on the flight, and just HAVE to let everyone know that they themselves are pilots too. They think they're king shit cuz they can fly a prop. The Captain and First Officer hate these guys and always make fun of them after they get off the plane.

my dad works at an airport....ALL pilots are (lazy) arrogant cunts!!!! they really don't have to do shit, there's this one simpsons episode where trucks drive themselves and it's this big secret. this is exactly the same. bunch of overprized cunts. air traffic controller is one of the toughest jobs ever, most commit suicide or turn insane. pilots just have a nice suit. look at sully.....
