  • This is exactly what i was looking for....

  • Those guys should be in MOP gear.

  • is that bp gas they are pumping into the plane?

  • Actually these are your hurricane hunter flights that they are using to watch the gulf. They do them every day or so to watch for weather patterns in the gulf. You can watch the flights on Google Earth.

  • Looks like a PROPAGANGA film made to make us think THEY are doing something the one officer even said that they would be flying," the same route as they did for the show the other day". Just a dog and pony show far as this man could see

  • 1:37 *sigh* (this is so boring might as well zoom this camera into the engines)

  • WTF I heard residencts in Tampa were beginning to smell the crude oil. Ten miles inland seagulls are seen for the first time...crying loudly. Kentucky & Tenesee are seeing a huge increase in birds, presumably from the Gulf coast. Can they smell the toxic gases?

  • @132starr you're an idiot.

  • @ThyEndlessDoomX right on hahaha. my thoughts exactly

  • "...they're not telling you everything." is right. In my experience, they usually tell us nothing. Or they misrepresent the truth altogether.

  • That canister? It DID contain Dick Cheney and Tony Hayward, right?

  • LOVE IT!!

  • I see the oil below the waters surface. all bp has really done is spray a toxic coctail to make it sink!!!

  • ok going to kill myself, seeya never

  • @fauldsalek hARD TO SAY, but that's what we should all do. Leave the planet for the lower forms of life. At least then balance will eventually reign

  • GROSS - This oil will go right up the Atlantic coast and over to Europe....

  • @surfskatefiji I think we need to get giant fans and blow it to BP

  • we just find new ways to fuck up this planet...

  • im assuming the dark areas streching for miles under the surface of the water is oil????

  • starting at 2:25, is that oil underwater showing up as dark areas (big ones) ?

Wouldn't it be good if there was some narration or annotations giving detail about the spill?

  • @TiqueO6 ... There was absolutely no oil in that footage. The reason that you are seeing footage with no oil is our job is to keep track of where the oil is and is not. So if you don't see any oil in this footage from the coast guard it is a good thing. It means it is not spreading as fast as is suspected.

  • great footage of what exactly? standard operating procedure? i wanna see the damage to the gulf, not the crew.

  • great footage
